I was looking on their Presidents Day sale and noticed Banggood have an Endoscope range. With a 7mm head and waterproof flexible cable , this 2 metre long USB Borescope / Endoscope can get into some tight spaces. 6 LEDs (adjustable brightness) will illuminate dark areas too.

It should fit the bill if you have an endoscope application including ear, nose oral & throat treatment, HVAC inspection, vent pipe, machine equipment, engine, automotive, boat, aircraft inspection.

Comes with software for Photo / Video.

      Sometimes banggood url links don't work on a mobile device (does a mobile redirect thingy and gets confused). It works for me on my PC.

          Ah I hate mobile friendly sites. My Note II handles a regular site nicely, yet some smart programmer decides I should have a cut down experience.

    I doubt this would be of any use for serious professional use. Might be fun to give to the kids to play around with and stick in various orifices.

      Short answer is no. I have the 5m version of this camera. The picture receive through the camera is average, and the light that surrounds the lens is not very bright. It's also not able to be focussed - which might be a problem for a few. Still, it serves it function at the most basic level. Reasonable quality in good light, but very ordinary when you send it into a dark abyss.

      It's not the exact same camera, but the image quality of this camera is very similar:

        Hey good find that footage. The one in that clip is 4 led, this one is 7 so it should be brighter in dark spots. I thought the clarity of the carrot in the tube was rather clear. I would hope nobody would expect a high def medical grade endoscope delivered from china for $17.

        I have used them inspecting inside a boat hull where I could not see it without an endoscope. Being waterproof you can also inspect from the water side too. In a larger area where the LEDs are not strong enough you could always strap on a AAA LED torch if you need more lumens.

    Was briefly tempted to get the 10metre one and install in one of our bird nesting boxes. I don't know that the cable would hold up well to long-trm weather exposure though. :(
