  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/129638 skins still available from $13

    • Hi,

I just had a look through their gear. Yes they have some great discounts on coloured Skins, however the plain black gear is still alot more expensive than SIX30. You can get compression tights from us for only $47.20 with 20% off plus FREE SHIpping, while there cost is over $70 plus shipping.

grey white blue and navy $18 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/s?q=skins&sort=pric… why pay extra for plain black. after all this is ozbargain.

        • As mentioned you can get compression tights from us for only $47.20 with 20% off plus Free Shipping, while their cost is over $70 plus shipping. It doesn't matter what colour they are. Plus our LS and SS tops are cheaper too.

I will agree their colourful shorts and mens tank tops are cheaper.

  • Just thought Id add my 2cents. I have worked in sporting retail and also for a elite football team, you will find skins and body science have actually got TGA approval so they had to show some scientific evidence to make there claims, like a medication (in fact when skins first came out if you had private health insurance you could actually claim for them). This stuff really does just look like lycra material and with no science behind I would be very wary spending so much without any science.

    • I thought along the same lines. There is nothing particularly noteworthy here:

However, they are not aiming for the premium end of the market. Here is a review:

      http://www.bicycles.net.au/2014/02/six30-cycling-compression…

Looks like Australian re branded, Pakistani sewn Lycra/poly mix.

In other news there is also a bit of a clearance on here:

    • Hi nickstar76,

I understand why you might have doubts from an unknown brand, but I can assure you the material is not lycra.

Our SIX30 Compression garments have been extensively researched, designed and tested by independent high profile athletes and several medical experts who claim that SIX30 compression garments improves athletic performance and recovery.

We have also had customers write in reviews that they were shocked with the outstanding results of the gear for the price. It has helped our customers with fatigued legs, improve performance, assist with recovery and numerous medical conditions (including POTS). The reveiws are on our website to read.

  • Rep, what state/territory are these manufactured in?

    • -1

      Hi pmupsinep,

Designed in Australia, manufactured in Pakistan. Materials are sourced worldwide, depending on the garment.

      • +1

Why are you stating it's Australian in the title then? Modify this misleading claim.

        • -1

Because we are an Australian owned website.
Sorry if the title was misleading…

  • So if it has been extensively researched then can you publish some data from the medical experts? And customer reviews don't really let you substantiate claims you are making. The research data on your page also look vague and doesn't specifically mention six30. Do you have a copy of the full document available?

      Hi nickstar76,
Our manufacturers gather experts on a month by month basis to test materials, fitting, styles, etc.

Here is a link to research and review by a Physio based in AUS: http://www.six30.com.au/blogs/the-630-news/8134685-physiothe…

Hope that is what you are after.
