After years and years of attendance to my local Parish Church, and many many $$ spent on helping my church grow, I have for the first time been let down and now feel lost and abandoned by the one idolized all these years.
Dan Murphy's , I feel you have abandoned me in my time of need
(out of stock) Asahi Super Dry Can 2L
    A sad day indeed

  • Wouldn't the "horrible Thai recipe" also be imported?
Unless you are drinking it in Thailand…

    • Because a recipe can't be used in other locations? confused face

      • Thai recipe implies that it is different in a bad way from say the original recipe / japanese recipe or whatever.

        • I find the assertion that the quality/taste would be inferior, given that there are 200k+ Japanese expats in Bangkok alone (the main market for the Thai brewed product), and Asahi is not one of the majors there (Singha, Chang, Tiger, Heineken, Leo are all much more prominent).

  • Equals $39.56 per 24x330ml, $44.96 per 24x375ml, $1.87 per 375ml

Sorry to disappoint you all, was my first post, thought it was a good deal, I will have to go and check every Dan Murphys in Aus before I post again. And yes I should of said Imported from Japan so original recipe not the Thai stuff, all apologies.

    You had me at beer

Don't take the out of stock comments / complaints personally. They are really directed at the retailers not so much yourself.

    Cheers for posting.

Springwood (Brisbane) laughed at me and said i was too late (12noon). BWS at Underwood said they still have them priced at $9.99, just not in stock. These are a rare delicacy. I need the asahi training for a return trip to Japan in May :S
