Great price, TERRIBLE game.
Disagree. I think this is a a good game, and doubly so for 3 bucks.
Very arcade-y of course, but it suits the vibe and feel of a 70's chase movie perfectly. They basically stripped most of the unneeded stuff out of previous Driver games and distilled it down to the parts that were fun, the driving.
The 'body swap' mechanic is a great way of rendering otherwise game halting crashes as not much of a problem, and makes for some pretty hilarious conversations between the driver and their passenger when safe-driving Grandma suddenly becomes a crazed lunatic intent on smashing her car into oncoming traffic.
I understood this to be the highly regarded Driver game, as compared to some lesser Driver editions?
Driv3r is one of the best games I've played - the scenery, the cars, the game-play, the story…
I returned SF after a few days. There is literally nothing to do but "drive here…now drive there in a time limit… here's some terribly written storylines with no character depth or logic…drive some more…" I found it a very odd choice of game to make after the third one.
However, I can't deny the deal, everyone please buy if for less than the cost of a bus ticket and form your own opinions about it. 1,000Gs is 1,000Gs, right?

Nice find. While I mostly enjoy FPS games, a driving game like this is a welcome change.
Yeah, I can verify IMHO this is a decent game, slightly above average physics, has a few unique ideas, and it features a reasonably accurate map of parts of San Francisco.
I really enjoyed this game. Definitely worth $3.28!
Dirt 3 is $8, which is pretty decent too.
