Thief PC Only $30.01 Delivered at VideoEzy

71

Hi Guys,

Not sure why it's so cheap at VideoEzy but you can get it on the PC for $30.01 Delivered (delivery is $2) this is the physical copy of the game and not digital. Be aware that it might take a while to arrive as they ship their stock from Hong Kong.

Found this deal through my price comparison website, compare prices for Thief on the PC here:

  • already have it, but adding a + for cheap physical copy :) thanks OP!

  • too long to ship :p

  • I see the price as $34.81.

I wonder if they do dynamic targeted pricing.

I'll never buy from VideoEzy again no matter how cheap. As mentioned, they ship from Hong Kong even when items are marked as in-stock. Took 4 weeks for a Xbox One game to arrive. I foolishly pre-ordered Watch Dogs and Titanfall at the same time as the last order - I won't do that again.

For those of us that have higher priorities in life than having a game on release day the prices outweigh the wait. Most orders are a couple of weeks also.

      • The above is true…..however I understand your annoyance with watch dogs, lots of people per-ordered that game.

      • +3

But that defeats the purpose of preordering. You could potentially miss out on a better deal by the time it arrives.

        • The purpose of preordering here is to get it when it's at it's cheapest. You won't find it and receive it quicker for less money elsewhere. These guys are the rock bottom of pricing in most cases.

The other thing is that with predominantly single-player games; who really cares when you get it?

I mean if your Steam library is anything like mine, you could play 24 hours a day for 5 months straight and still not come to close to playing every game in there.

          :) 347 atm…..and I used to despise steam….

    • Managed to cancel my pre-orders. Just sent an email to Video Ezy asking to cancel as I didn't realise the games were imported rather than local stock. They cancelled the order the next day and refunded the full amount.

  • There site pricing is busted at the moment.

    Metal Gear Solid:
    $43 on this page - http://www.videoezy.com.au/games/0/0/pre-releases#bc=f222
    $53 on this page - http://www.videoezy.com.au/games/metal-gear-solid-v-ground-z…

    Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls
    $38 - http://www.videoezy.com.au/games/0/0/pre-releases#bc=f222
    $47 - http://www.videoezy.com.au/games/diablo-iii-reaper-of-souls-…

Everything is ~$10 cheaper on the pre-release page until you actually go to buy it.

(profanity) VideoEzy, i pre-ordered from them twice and my order was put on back order even after 4 weeks since the initial launch. Shipping takes way too long, even after they dispatch, it usually takes 2 weeks before the game arrives.

don't recommend unless you are patient.

  • +1

Agreed. They backorder your game after it gets released. I pre-ordered Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze last year from them. It's been out nearly a week now and it's still on back order.

    Be prepared to be patient.

  • Ordered this from them last week. Now I'm just trying to keep patient.

Have had a fairly mixed bag with pre-orders with them in the past, some have arrived quickly (Farcry 3 which is also Ubisoft and gives me hope here), but some have been far too slow.

For anyone who is interested, don't bother. Almost all reviews slam it as being absolutely terrible, and a disgrace to the Theif franchise…

    • There are some reviews on Steam (WTF) all positive….

Reviewers love dissing new games nowadays, its all the rage.

      • No way, metacritic is too favourable. It needs a little bit of statistics coded into it to adjust for websites that are always too positive or too negative. So many places give everything 9/10 or 10/10 it's ridiculous.

Basically, I go to metacritic have a look at the general scoring, then jump down to gamespots reviews. I find they tend to score correctly.

        • +1

Seeing EB give a pre order discount of $10 put the nail in the coffin for a day 1 purchase for me, will wait for a discount

      • Reviewers love dissing new games nowadays, its all the rage.

Yes mate, they're all conspiring to hurt those multi-billion dollar publishers like EA and Ubisoft who really care about the artistic integrity of the video game industry and not about rehashing the same sh*t year-in, year-out so they can rape the disposable incomes of the parents of 16 year olds everywhere.

        • and Australian's in general…..don't forget that!
