  I got this game on iOS when it was on sale. I managed to play the game many times over (and still playing now) without the need to buy any in app purchase. I even managed to buy the spray gun and the homing missiles with the diamonds I earned playing the game. Given that I am very bad at playing games, I would say that this game will satisfy your needs without the need to fork out any money.

    Need or want? So if we NEED to means the game won't work without in app purchases? Or just simply available if you WANT them?

      I get the impression it's need.

      I for one am NOT regressing to the days of having to put money into arcade machines for credits. We moved past that, NOT going back.
