Tunlr.net is gone... What else was good? Alternate DNS Serive required

Just discovered that tunlr.net has shut down, are there any other good free (or cheap) DNS services? My Hulu+ subscription is going to waste.

    I've been trying to make a cheap $10/year VPS in the US into my own VPN host, but can't get it to work cause I don't know enough of what I'm doing to troubleshoot or edit the guides I've found.
    If anyone has that sort of technical nouse, it'd be a boon to OzBargain users..

      Don't expect it to be fast that runs websites but as VPN / proxy it should be enough.

        Hi Scotty, I already have a $10/year service, but it's currently sitting idle cause I can't work out what I'm doing wrong to get OpenVPN functioning. Tried multiple guides for/with multiple distros. All of them seem to work OK without a hitch (or I hit an error that I can't decipher) but I can't connect.

    Have you done a search? For example Hola was suggested here. Also check this thread that was only posted a few days ago.

    unlocator.com is presently free as its in beta. I'm using it and its perfect.

    tunnelto.us was working until tunlr.net went down at which time I assume their small operation got hammered.

      I suspected that those guys were just proxying tunlr.net services anyway. They only ever had one IP address in use (which I think was just a VPS on Amazon AWS when I checked into it) and the site looked like a cookie-cutter copy of the tunlr.net one.

      When tunlr.net died so did their proxy of it is my best bet… Still, hope I'm wrong and the resurface. :)

    After spending some time with Hola, the lag is making it unwatchable. Might try unlocator next

      Hola shouldn't affect your streaming.. It just spoofs the DNS at login. Everything else is direct to your IP address.
