    • When I purchased my tyres they manager was telling another customer, that they could buy 4 different tyres to qualify (cheapest being free), that might be another potential option

      • That's useful for people with staggered setup's.

  • You can still negotiate the price. I got some 205/50R17 RE002 from $222 to $203, and then 4 for the price of 3.
    I'm happy with that.

  • Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 (195/65R15), in WA
    $149 ea - Bridgestone
    $139 ea - Bob Jane

  • I just ordered 4 Bridgestone re002 for my Honda Euro for $450 with wheel alignment.

    Very happy.

    • What size tyres and which store?
I got quoted $717 for 4x RE002 in 225/45/R17 from Beconsfield in VIC.

      • That's not too bad, maybe just a tad high. They'd be making about $55 per tyre for the 3 based on cost price. (+ rebates, incentives, etc!) For the above post, he must only have 15's on… Good price if 16's… And impossible to get 17's for that!

        • I have an Accord Euro too (2007 Luxury model) and I know the previous years ran on 16's (205/55/R16).
Thanks for the price insight though Snoop!

      • Try to ask if 235/45/R17 fits. My understanding is the popular sizes are cheaper given they are standard size for Holden Commodore

        • The Euro rims are 7" and I read somewhere that 235/45/R17 should be on 7.5" minimum and on 8" being optimum. So on 7", the 235's would balloon out the sides too much and affect the handling a bit. But yeah, the 235's would be cheaper being a more common tyre size.

        • Yes, you're right. Legally a 235/45R17 must go on a 7.5" wheel minimum. I've seen them on 7"s but you run the risk of non roadworthy &/or void insurance. And nowadays they're looking for any possible way they can get out of paying a claim!

  • Got 4 EP100s for my Honda Accord Euro from Bob Jane Adelaide with wheel alignment for 500$. So far so good. Huge improvement in roll resistance over my old Toyo tyres.

    • Are you trying to compare your brand new tyres with full tread against your old worn out ones?

  • 4 ER33 for nissan maxima 215/55R17 for 575 with wheel alignment in Ballarat.

  • Just paid $550 for 4 x Turanza T001 235/45R17 including alignment on BA XR6 at Bob Jane Preston. I was quoted the same for RE002 but they didn't have any in stock and neither did Bridgestone. Guy at Jax said he would beat any price but I'd rather go with the guy that gave me the cheapest price straight off the bat

    • for the exact tyres and size my local Bridgetone quoted me $675 excluding alignment. What a rip off!

  • Just for reference, I bought RE002 in 195/55/15 for $138 each from Jax.

Seems overkill for a station car/grocery getter lol but why the heck not when EP100 is the same price.

    • Yes, but that station car/grocery getter travels at speed in front, behind and alongside other cars that may be carrying precious cargo!!! Good call!!!

  • Got quoted from Bridgestone Hampton Park (VIC):
4x RE002 in 225/45/R17 for $675 + $65 for 4 wheel alignment with optional $7.50 per tyre for nitrogen, will probably skip the nitrogen.

So, $750 all up which is about $40 cheaper than the best quote I could get from other Bridgestone dealers and other local tyre places.

  • I got 4 Ecopia EP100 195/60/R15 yesterday incl fitting, balancing & disposal from Bridgestone and with the buy 3 get 4th free works out to $85.50 per tyre.

    • Hi I am based in Sydney and will like to buy 4 tyres plus balancing for Toyota Avensis Model.

      I have 2 options :
      1. Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 205/65R15 from any other retailer like Jax, Bob Jane OR
      2. Michellin from Costco (they have 70 off at present).

      Any recommendations please?
Does anyone can help me with costs / dealers in Sydney as I need to replace by this week.

      thanks

  • Wife just came back from the tyre shop, not with Ecopia EP100s as booked, but Firestone TZ700s! Although these tyres aren't even in the deal, we still got one free. Total came out $55 cheaper than expected with Ecopias.

I don't know anything about TZ700s so I'm not sure if I should feel lucky (seeing as I got a deal that wasn't advertised) or ripped off (if these tyres aren't good).

    • Seems that I got a good deal. Choice rate these tyres well above the Ecopias.
