A4 Spirax note books selling 5 for $0.65. Perfect for school.
I bought a whole box of these for 5 dollars.

    I threw out the receipt but I've bought 3 packs of them for all my friends on different occasions and they're the same price. It's on the sidestack on aisle 2 next to the pens.

  I found Studymate 192pg hard Cover exercise books for $1 each about 2 weeks ago, at Vermont Sth Officeworks. They were being cleared so I doubt there would be any/many left.
  Not as cheap as OP's deal, but they are good quality with a nice binding.

  Thanks for the post. My partner drove down to get some this morning and they were almost all gone … the fellow asked her where she heard about it as there had been a rush of customers buying them this morning … so this deal has been truly ozbargained!
