Went down to get a carton of my regular and a carton of Guinness since it was on special for $55 and was happy to see it on the shelf even cheaper for $49.

Got up to the cash register to pay and saw they had a promotion behind the counter - 6 packs of 440ml Guinness Draught for $9.95 each when you spend $30 in store.

Asked the cashier to put my slab through at the same price. She tried using her code and it was rejected, so I told her I'd take 4x 6 packs instead. She scanned the one behind the counter 4 times then let me have my carton.

Not sure how long its on for (I'm guessing probably until St Patrick's day?)

    Took a $20.50 6 pack to the counter. Noticed the promotion. The lady said I can have it for $10… "grab another for $10 too, if you want".

    12 guinness for $20.
