  • is it really that good? Sounds pricey. Whats it taste most similar to

    • go buy a single can and neck it.
once you've gone black, you never go back…. so they say.

    • brewed in dublin, guinness is good for you and is the original stout, though as good or better are coopers and lion/sinha amongst others :)

it tastes like winter john snow

    • Think fresh tar with bubbles. I've never tasted the real Irish stuff but I like "old" beer and if Guinness in a can is anything to go by I've missed nothing. Each to his own.

Not to deflate your widget Tonester but I did glimpse this for $49.90 at my local DMurphs last night. It is however listed as not available online.

  • Dont Dan Murphy say they will beat any advertised price ,worth a try

Dan Murphys its $49.90 also have a special if you spend over $25 you can get 6pack of Guinness for $9.99

Yep, good deal but as Ausblu has said Dan's is doing it cheaper. Picked up a slab in SA jsut a short moment ago

It's not beer mate, it's stout, edit you're description, there's a big difference!!

A can is good, but it's not a patch on the real thing, I've found two pubs in Sydney that have acceptable Guinness on tap, the rest I've had are awful unfortunately.

  • Liquorland has 6-pack for $10 with $30 spend. (probably before DM)

  • Liquirland:
Took a $20.50 6 pack to the counter. Noticed the promotion. The lady said I can have it for $10… "grab another for $10 too, if you want".

    12 guinness for $20.

    SCORE!
