    These aren't really "e-books" at all - they are KINDLE DOWNLOADS.

    I don't have a kindle. Can I take advantage of the deal, and read them in another way?

    it's a shame can't be read on normal Kindle Paperwhite devices. Have to download the Kindle for PC to read it on PC.

      These books are replicas of the printed ones. They contained photos, charts and tables. Thus it's best to read the books on a tablet, PC or notebook.

          After you installed the Kindle reading app, make sure you register the device with your Amazon account. You can then read the book on that device. I can read the books on my notebook, KF HDX 8.9 and Nexus 7. Again please note that publisher have restricted the reading of books to two simultaneous devices.

          This was perplexing me also, but I noticed Amazon listed Kindle for iPad and Kindle for PC – this is because the book has special diagrams and such; therefore, it can only be downloaded on those devices.
