I ordered as soon as the deal went, the payment was processed, approved and then I received a refund 7 days later because they were now out of stock?Same thing from HN for my orders too. I think nowadays online stores just sell whatever they want without actually having the stocks and worse come to worse refund you later if they cannot source the stocks from suppliers.
They are probably on the brink of collapse, they are just using these methods to raise short term cash.
I didn't neg you. A comment in the OzB archives which i cant find now is that DS strategy is not to be profitable and last long term, but to appear like a great buy to an uninformed buyer of the company. It's current owners just want to sell it off, and for maximum profit. It is being run dodgily.
Don't know why this is negged, DS online appears to have been run questionably for a while now and have indicated they don't care about being around / their perceptions for the long term.

I think it's quite evident the main operation of the business is having problems. I don't doubt most orders are still going through without a problem, but stories about ones that aren't being fulfilled after long wait times, and delays in refunding money seem to be increasing at an alarming rate. To me this indicates a sick operation that is being gutted from the inside.
Same thing happened to me and 9 weeks after they cancelled the order. Also my last Eneloop order according to startrack tracking info was "delivered" yesterday morning to my house and someone signed using my name. I got home, asked my wife and we didn't have any deliveries yesterday morning!

Was it your neighbor? Mine used to do it until they realised I keep being inundated by parcels every second day (courtesy of OzB thx!) while I'm not at home…guess it was 'too much for them to handle'.
Don't think so, never had this problem before. Quiet neighborhood and good neighboors(so far)
If thats the case, what I do to check is use the tracking no. on their website (if courier) & you can clearly see the actual digitalised signature the 'recipient' signed/input into the PDA. The input tells a lot (it may be a sig you recognise from someone in your home). Its the way I ensure that I know when they deliver to a wrong address & someone pretends to be me.
If its Austpost well thats a diff story.
there is no digital signature on the courier's tracking info page(Startrack)
Startrack doesn't have it? Some of the other ones do.
Better ask your wife if its there then if not its time to chase it up with the courier.
No, I was just joking about my wife, the fact is that we didn't have any deliveries yesterday. The previous DS/Startrack order went to the local post office(none was at home)and i got this message "As nobody was home at the time, a card was left at your premises with details for collection."This time no message was left and the item was marked as delivered signed by me. I will check the post office on Monday, just in case, while waiting for DS to investigate the matter.

Had that happen to me a few times too. The most annoying thing is they don't bother writing up & leaving a card! Lazy as bums. So I printed the tracking page as proof & showed it at my local PO if it was left there.
I put diablo 3 reaper of souls into my cart….it was labelled free shipping but $4.95 was added as shipping to the final sum..
Think that is cause it's a pre-order?

I ordered HDMI cables from their eBay store and they arrives within a few days with no dramas. I guess it's luck of the draw. I've had my eye on MOSHI Double Bass Burger for a while. With the current price and free shipping I don't think I can say no. :p
I ordered a GPS and it came up with conflicting info - on one screen it said free delivery whilst on another it had $4.95 delivery. I went through with the order and remarkably my invoice says GPS $99 + Free delivery = $104! Great maths!
I rang the local store and the salesman was helpful and unsurprised at what I found on the website. He asked me to bring the GPS into the store and he'll refund the postage for me.
Now that's a good sales person. Pity he's working for a company that's kinda screwed up.
Do I need anymore eneloops?
