    • How is it a no-name brand? Don't Gigabyte make motherboards?

      • Original post was this
"Tegra Note 7 Android Tablet for $215+ $23 Shipping to Sydney from Storm Computers"
        with no further detail.
It looked, like click-bait and nothing more.. I didn't take the bait.
Plus I still argue that you can get a Nexus 7 for a similar price..
Sure Gigabyte is a recognisable brand, but not in the Tablet space…

        • Whilst I would probably choose a Nexus 7 over this, I don't agree with the neg.

        • Yep with the update, I'm more than happy to have had the neg removed.
Deserved a neg for the crapness of the initial post.. I don't care that it's a L plater.. The original post was useless. Would have failed the theory test if it was a car licence.

You can get the 32gb Nexus 7 from TGG for a close price.

this is the tegra 4 tablet. comes in 2 brands (from the last review i saw). Gigabyte and eVGA brand…… on top of my head, i might be wrong. PCCasegear had the gigabyte version.

    edit: found the review

  • Wow Nvidia Tegra tablet. Tempting price. Wish i havent bought my Asus Vivotab Note 8

    • Is that you Jondenly?

      • Nope, Im Jordanly.

    • Gigabyte is a respected motherboard manufacturer..

  • I just clicked on the link……. it stated gigabyte , how could it be no brand? :( I like Gigabyte more than Asus

again…. the 1st post might be true as in 3rd party built but checked by Gigagbyte QA and name it as Gigabyte

    • OP has since updated the post and title.
It was a crap post with zero detail initially.

      • yeah my 1st reply was based on what i know about tegra 4 and note 7 as no details posted before. The second post based based on after i clicked the link……

    Hardly a no-name.
Peoples are quick to forget that Tegra powered the original Nexus 7s.

Not worthy of a neg, but not worthy of a positive vote either.

for those saying NO brand are you really go into the page and read the deal or you just simply using your mouse and click?? tagra 4 chip gigabyte tablet, this is really good price!

    so cheap!!!!!! i bought 3!!

If this had 2GB, it would be as good, if not better than the note 8. I would prefer the Tegra 4, over the damn Samsung chipset in Note 8.

Not worthy of a neg. though. It does have some nice features (mSD slot, stylus, HDMI)

<$200 will be a good price for this.

    • The best way around this is to get the tablet rooted and then get Virtual memory to work. Have had a lot of success with other phones/tabs with 1GB RAM to get more things running.

  • Screen resolution, Memory, storage and no 3g are a let down.
Still happy with my 10", 2GB mem, 32Gb storage, full HD, 3g chinese tablet
