At selected cinemas 1 adult and 1 child ticket for $15 (Optus Number and Registration Required). Three month expiry. Movie vouchers are valid for standard cinema screenings any day of the week, including public holidays, although they can’t be used on Saturdays after 5pm.

Vouchers can be used for any standard session subject to seat availability at your chosen participating cinema. Standard surcharges will apply for 3D movies. Not valid for Hoyts La Premiere movies, nor can they be used as part payment for Hoyts La Premiere.

The $5 kids deal is valid until 21 April, and they can only be bought on a 1 for 1 basis with adult tickets. But then they have a valid life of at least 3 months. And they can be redeemed on their own, in any quantity. Eg I just took 4 kids to the movies, for $30 (4 × $5) + ($10 adult), but I had to buy 4 adult tickets for $40 in order to get the 4 kids tickets for $20. Only condition is they cannot be used on Saturday after 5pm.

    You have to register separately for Optus Movie Rewards- your standard Optus log in will not work.
