Hey all,

Toys R Us are having another VIP event for the LEGO Movie. It's a "make and take" event where the kids rock up and make a small LEGO toy and get to take it home. The event is scheduled for 12 April 2014. Limited places so get in quick and register! For those that aren't VIP members; the only way you can become one is to go to Toys R Us and pickup a VIP card.

Update:
The kids get to make either a LEGO Emmet's car or Flying Car.

Stores have either 10 or 20 spaces available for 5 sessions - 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 and 1:30. You can RSVP for up to 4 children.

    Thanks OP. My kids will love this. I've been watching my inbox like a hawk since the Toys R Us newsletters starting talking about it. I still have received no email from Toys R Us saying its open for registration.

    I went to the Toys R Us Make and Take around Christmas time and the kids enjoyed that, and i'm sure they'll enjoy this one too. Free Lego :-)

      This wasn't possible with the Christmas set at Moore Park store. Each kit was in a plastic bag and one bag was given out per attendee.

    Places seem to be going fast at some stores. Chatswood is gone for almost all the morning sessions, and only 5 left in the last one for the day at 1:30pm.

    This is really good for the kids, so better hurry up the rest of you who haven't booked yet :)

    Never been to one as always missed out. But, have successfully booked for this, thanks OP! Anyone been to one before, can you tell me does the age of the kids really matter in order to participate? I have booked a spot for my youngest, 3 years old.

      I took a 4yo to the Christmas event. They were able to complete the build with a little help.

    No more available places in Castle Hill. Lucky though, got in for Parramatta .. still some available places in Parramatta store for anyone interested.
