I had a black XF 27mm on order for a couple of weeks and then cancelled when I bought a used X100 with a similar lens. Later I bought a silver XF 27mm when I saw Amazon again had them for immediate delivery for that bargain delivery rate of $US10.98.
Fujifilm may stop their special deals in a few days and this may turn out to be a big bargain. On the other hand this may be a realistic price for this lens.
This lens is very sharp especially around the centre. It would probably be larger if it were faster and had stabilization.
The lack of an aperture ring is not a problem as the control wheel control works well where it even switches to Auto mode when you go past F16.
