From the overwhelming joy of becoming a parent to the sheer enjoyment of having your pet frantically greeting you at the door, there's no stone left unturned in Rector's warm and fuzzy book. With so many positive experiences listed alongside hilarious cartoons, don't be surprised if you consider reading this book as the 101st greatest feeling. - Mariah Bliss

Clarence Rector has invited readers to relive, or experience vicariously, 100 of the greatest feelings of all time. His methodology is admittedly subjective, but who can argue that among the greatest feelings are becoming a parent, being a hero, or getting your first home. Some of the events may not be momentous, like sliding into fresh sheets or belting songs out in your car, but, like when someone buys you a free drink, it sure feels nice. Other moments are truly precious, like becoming a grandparent, or surviving cancer. Many moments involve being appreciated, such as when people laugh at your jokes or give you applause. Some moments are great because they allow you to relax and enjoy, such as laughing really hard: "It's almost like your body has opened all the valves and thrown all the switches in celebration of the merriment."

At times the passages are light and funny, and other times they are deeply felt and heartwarming. Added up, they leave the reader with a reminder of many things to celebrate, big and small. - Lisa Nuss

Scoring a bargain on OzBargain, and voting and talking about it has to be in the list, don't you agree?

Isn't it a little over the top to devote 3.82 pages per feeling?

No 1. Getting a good deal on Eneloops?

    • I vote this!!! Especially Eneloops of the AAA variety!!!

Well there are things that beat scoring a bargain. And thats being paid to take their merchandise via cash-backs, etc. If you need help you know where to ask.
