    warning these non-contact devices are of zero use for testing bathwater - you will burn your baby. Test with your own hand, and/or use a normal 'contact' type thermometer for any liquid, i.e. this cheaper one

    Not very.

    Russ is correct. It's only useful for temperature extremes or extreme fluctuations. E.g. Engine components, cooking surfaces, PC internals, etc.

    Any surface area smaller than your hand is going to incredibly difficult to measure, unless you are damn-near touching it with the thermometer.

    I have the $20 one from SuperCheap Auto.

    I honestly think the for the money you're paying, the laser pointer is more of a selling point than the thermometer itself (it has a pretty decent range, especially at night).

  I had a very bad experience buying on tmart. They promoted a LED light for 50% off (approx. $10). I proceed to checkout just like I do on the other sites. The promotion code works however when I used paypal to pay, they charged me full price. I sent at least 10 emails to them. They kept playing silly beggar. Every time they just asked what is your order number without addressing your concerns. I would never buy from this store again and I wouldn't not recommend anyone to buy from them.

    I also had a bad experience with them. Bought one of those digital multimeters from them a while back but it never turned up. Not sure if scam or just incompetence on their part.

      pro tip: if something dosnt turn up its much more likely been lost by aus post than anywhere else along the chain…

      if something dosnt turn up email them or PM the rep of even simply just ask in here and 90% of the time the reps will sort out any issue you have. dont just bitch and neg.
