    • Hi, yes, I just make a mistake.
      Correct it now!

  • 45 page thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2619107

From the bits I've read - good unit apart from strange iPad-style (ie. not good) UI (not sure how easy it is to change) and amazingly the case is too thick to allow standard (micro) charging/USB and HDMI cables! (The former is supplied, the latter isn't…)

    • Mine arrived. Interface all in chinese. Flashed the ROM (took 15 minutes) and now it's all English and smooth to use. My smartphone is a Google Nexus 4 and this Onda v975m is considerably faster. The screen is crisp and bright. The build qualtiy/feel is great and it's thin and light. The sound from the speakers is tinny but but not bad — about the same as my phone. Battery life is 7+ hours (installing Apps, on wi-fi, playing video etc) so I think 8-9+ would be achievable.

The only downside is the USB port which, as you say, is too far inside the thick case. So my Nexus 4 charger won't connect. The connector fits but the contacts don't reach to make an electrical connection. So you're pretty much limited to using their cable — which is going to be a problem I think.

Delivery was fast. Though a friend who also ordered once at the same time hasn't received his yet.
