    Not buying another, since last one purchased from amazon from a deal posted here gave me a faulty unit! And to have another one resent would cost way more than the initial purchase cause the faulty needs to be sent back.

      Got a despatch notice on 25/4 with a 12-20 (business) days delivery prediction (for normal country). Evidently parcels only travel on business days in normal countries, so abnormal countries may be faster.
      Taking this literally, and assuming normality, my earliest delivery will be 13/5.

Gearbest support just keeps going back and forth repeating the same stupid questions and same stupid suggestions, but nothing has arrived and no one will give me an order update!         This has got to be a good example of the Ozbargain Effect and group herd marketing. Product okay - I mean it's not awesome, shipping took a month and the price was not something I would call a bargain in the context of other similar categorised torches. Note to self don't confuse + with actual product and service that comes from ordering the advertised product.

    Did not arrive, just submitted a support ticket with refund request. Payment did not go to 'gearbest' like other orders I have made, when looking at the paypal transaction it went to 'li pengzhen' [email protected]. Not sure what that means but I have my gearbest order and tracking number saying it's been sent.

      Either way, the Buyer Protection Period is fast approaching its expiry, so no choice really.

    You only offer a 45 day money back guarantee, and it's nearly been 45 days. If the item has been lost in transit, then I have no guarantee of receiving it since there is no tracking.

    1 month and 1 week is a reasonably long enough time to wait, even by the very slow flat rate shipping times from China and Hong Kong.

    I've ordered dozens of products via such couriers before and this is a LONG wait time, even by those standards.

    If the courier companies you use for flat rate shipping have continual problems delivering items in a reasonable time, that is YOUR PROBLEM; not mine. I do not control the courier companies you deal with nor should choosing a cheaper courier service cause my order to be considered "low priority" and subject to less quality control.

    They're your couriers; they're your problem. Don't offer such unreliable shipping services if they're a cause of continual complaints for you.

    I still maintain I would like a refund from you, otherwise I will escalate this to a PayPal Claim.

    Mine arrived today and it is a good little performer.

    I have been surprised at the whingeing in this forum about the delivery time. They provided an estimated delivery date range and mine arrived 4 days after their later prediction. Their deliveries are at the mercy of the variables involved in international freight logistics. Perhaps we have been spoilt by the many excellent delivery times that we usually enjoy.

    What has happened to good old fashioned patience and tolerance?

    mine also arrived today.

    seems like quite poor build quality though, there's a rubber seal on the inside and mine came loose immediately and now everytime i unscrew/screw it it catches on the seal and is almost ripped, now i have a nice bit of dangling plastic on the inside of the torch and get an annoying shadow when i use it.

    It had rubber seal dangling loose inside the lens so unscrewed top cap and removed it.

        Hold onto the bumpy section and unscrew the top smooth section.
        I ended up refitting the rubber seal, it took a few go's for it to stay on when putting torch back together hopefully it stays put.

    Mine finally arrived today. Not overly impressed with it, but then it did cost ~ $3.50 so I can't really complain. As a comparison though, my Sunwayman M10A AA flashlight is much much brighter, more functional and of better build quality.

    Planning to use mine as a bicycle light and for that purpose, it will do (assuming rain doesn't kill it).

    Got mine yesterday, had an "opened by customs" sticker on envelope so that may have held up delivery.

    It was DOA, had to pull it apart and re-seat circuit board for better contact, this fixed it and it works but i have purchased a few of these same torches and this one is not the best build compared to others i have.

      The whole lens assembly does slide to give zoom. Mine was very stiff initially and I had to apply a lot of pressure but it does zoom from a big circle right through to a projection of the LED itself (about 80mm at 1 metre).

    For the price it's pretty good, so no complaints, but nowhere near what I was expecting from all the fanfare over it.

    It is quite poor quality, as mentioned and no where near 350 lumens advertised.. My 120 Lumen 2xAA Cree from aldi is notably brighter (and just as notably better built), This is evident from that fact it draws more power too _2.5w vs 1w for this) This is no surprise though, I don't think it has a boost converter after all. You could probably drive the LED harder.

    Ordered on the 29th of April. Still haven't received mine. Their tracking number stated in the accounts page does not work. I have just mailed them. Gonna give them one day to reply otherwise I have to lodge that 45 day thingy with Paypal or its gonna be too late. Not happy !!!

    Received mine today! It is a great little torch that is super bright (in the day time, cant wait to try it tonight). It is not plastic either -quite well made for the price. Worth the loooong wait.
