  • Are these the same one HERE$1.39 each?

    • +3

Looks the same, please select the "Main Color" and you will know how much it is.

  • +7

$1.39 refers to the cost of the light bracket. The actual torch in that listing is $4.74
    EDIT: In reply to huu

    • Agreed with Riczter.

BTW, I got one of these similar torch from eBay and it was very bright and very solid compare to other LED torches that I have.

  • Are these any good? Anyone already gone one?

      Review: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/24785

Look at that under five dollar stock sk68 clone. I think the performance is top-notch! Starting at a respectable 220 lumens, with its lack of heatsinkpaste, its hollow pill and the dramatically bad heat path to the body tube, its output just goes strong throughout the 23 minutes run. No-one will notice the only 25% output drop over 20 minutes without a lux-meter. And nothing melts, it just keeps working! It is just laughing at us at BLF, all worried about heatsinking issues, thinking of mods to improve that, THE DESIGN WORKS AND IT WORKS FINE Cool.

      :)

      • Thanks!

      • +1

Is that a good review or a bad one !!
        Can't make it out :PPP

    • +1

For general use, these are fantastic - we have about 5 of them around the house.
Other than the usual reliability criterias, I look for :
single AA battery so easy to find (I use Eneloops in mine)
Zoomable lens - this is so handy because at times you want to zoom to light up something distant but other times flood for say walking in the dark.

    • Iv'e bought three previously - will buy another today. Great torches

The site is getting banged real good. Intermittent server issues.

The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

  • Get one of these if you can. I got several last time and WoW they really are great little torches! Simple, no fuss and at a great price! Awesome stocking filler I reckon. Will get some more now…

  • The coupon doesn't work when trying to buy 2 with different colours. The only way is to put it on separate orders?

    • Yes

    • Problem fixed!

  • Got 4 of these still in boxes. But they are black. So let me get some color ones :)

  • -6

these things are a waste of money. buying it just because its el cheapo.

    • They are cheaper, brighter, smaller and cooler than the POS multiple LED 3xAAA lights that you find on the counter of your local Autobahn, which quite a lot of people buy.

Further, everyone I know who sees one wants one, and likes it once they get one. It's probably one of the best bang for buck products to ever come out of China.

  • Banggood.com?

    I love a good bang :)

  • +4

I got one of these lights. Very good quality and very happy. Currently using Enerloop batteries, but it goes quite dim after a few rides. I'm thinking of trying 14500 batteries. Rep, can you do a deal on battery + charger or light + battery + charger? Thanks.

    • +3

Good idea,I will take it into consideration, thank you.

    • I think you'll find that 14500 batteries will only be an improvement when you get a good quality battery. Plenty of the [insert something here]fire brand batteries do not live up to their stated mah capacities.

tonnes of reviews on the net for different brands and their performance/accuracy.

    • I use two of these on my bike with 14500 batteries. They don't last longer (and they might even last less) but they are much brighter. I think the 3-mode clones are better for riding as you get high/low/flash, and often you only need low/flash which conserves the battery more. Anyway, I just carry a couple of spare batteries.

A deal on batteries or a 3-mode version would be great.

  • +2

Thanks Rep, bought 5. I already have 2 black ones, and for the price they make great stocking stuffers. To me, they are a "gateway drug" to the world of LED torches.

    • +1

      HAHAHA !!

Your words are so true. I have entered through the gateway, and am now on the Highway to Hell.

Must stop buying led torches. Must stop buying led torches.

Bugger it. I think I will get a couple more of these.

BTW. These are a FANTASTIC little torch. Though be aware of ebosh words above….. buy at your peril

It will be the first of many……..bigger….. brighter…… Aaaararrrrgghhhhhh !!!

      • My progression went a little like this…
This torch > Foursevens QP2A > Nitecore EA4. I really want to get something ridiculous next, but the next step up in torches seems to require 18650 batteries and i don't know if i want to go down that path.

  • Thanks we grabbed a few.

  • Thanks, I ordered one…

  • Ding

  • Ordered 3 because I love the colours.

    • +3

That's fair enough, but just be aware - if you have Glitter Eneloops - they may refuse to work in these things unless you reassure them that they're prettier than the torches…

      • Don't have Glitter Eneloops but good to know. Thanks,Tas.

  • I bought two of these for around $7 ea and I though they were a bargain at that price. Extremely bright and such a compact torch.

  • +2

Thanks heaps, got one. Here's hoping I receive it unlike dodgy Zingy

    • Ah, yes. 'The Zingy Apocalypse'. Thanks for reminding us.

    • Yeah I trust Banggood more than I'll ever trust Zingy again :( Myself and a friend never got ours. Scammer.

Just got one of each colour thanks in advance Banggood :)

    • Yep, the Zingy deal was one sad story back then. Well, I got my $4 worth of entertainment out of it, no torch though like so many of us… I am still curious: did he ever plan to ship them all?

Banggood has proven reliable though. Ordered a few things, including a different torch, and they all arrived after 2 to 3 weeks. Good quality stuff too.

  • Thanks rep, grabbed a couple for fun.

    Hey Rep!
Is that 7-15 days shipping to Melbourne, Australia a realistic time frame?
    Have holidays very soon.

    • Yup,It usually takes 7-15 business days to arrive.

    • +2

I think that's business days, allow a month for it to arrive to be safe. I've bought a few things from BangGood and they all take around the 3 week mark to arrive, I've certainly never had anything come in a week. That's not knocking them they are reputable and I've never had anything not arrive. So glad they found their way to Ozbargain.

  • Hi Rep,

You did say to "also" use bg5555 so I hope both deal12 and bg5555 can be used together.

However I can't get bg5555 to work on a $70+ order of these - it says "Coupon is only allowed to use in special category."

    Thanks!

  • +1

Reasonable deal for a AA/14500 flashlight. Mod: Small Sun ZY-T11 and ZY-T29 + overview and comparison (BLF) gives details of a significantly better ~$10 ~650lm Small Sun ZY-T11 clone using a more powerful 18650 battery (< $10 for a 2x18650 batteries). Torch has a 3.5mm onboard charging port.

  • Just bought 3 for $12.66AUD
    :)

Bought 10 for $42.17. Everybody is getting a torch for Christmas!

  • One of each colour for me also. Thanks!

  • how long does it usually take from goodbang to your door?

Ive had experience where other online sites say that they have the item in stock but it takes 3 months to receive the goods, not sure if they had to roll the boat themselves over

    • how long does it usually take from goodbang to your door?

Not much longer that it would take to read the comments in this thread before posting, and thus knowing that it's already been discussed and answered :-).

  • We have wolf eyes torches at work and i love them, any one know how this would this compare?

  • too bad there's no black, good value anyway.

  • Thanks Banggood. I've just ordered 2 red ones as you had no other colours in stock. If you happen to get more blue ones can you change both to blue colour? (Order 903339)

    Thanks

    • Should've put it in the order notes, I like the army green myself.

I'm getting an error "This coupon could only be used 800 times." Has the deal expired?

    • I got the same email as Jangle, replied back with change of colours ordered, no reply back, card hasn't been debited so I'm guessing out of stock/waiting for stock.

    • +1

      i got a red cree q5 today… ordered october 11.

      • I ordered a red as well on Thursday 10 October, 2013, but received nothing yet…

  • I ordered 2 red on 10/10/2013 have not received yet. Order #903328. Any update please Rep

  • I have not receive anything yet

  • me either, I ordered on 10 oct, haven't received anything yet

  • Ordered on the 10 Oct too. Almost 3 weeks of waiting…

  • +1

Ordered 11 Oct. Got my 2 torches yesterday. Amazingly bright and powerful for such a small torch.
Now just waiting for the other stuff I ordered at the same time.

  • Received mine today. Thank you.

  • +2

Torch still haven't arrived, nearly a whole month already…

    • same, mine still not here yet

    • SAME HERE, ordered on 10 oct

    • Weird..

      I received mine last week.

      WA

  • I've had mine, I swear there was only one green option when I ordered. I thought I was getting army green rather than bright light green.

Great torch, I've added it to my other torches. This may become my go to torch. If it were just slightly more powerful it could make a good bat signal, very powerful for the price.

    • More than 1 month, still waiting…..

  • Ordered on 10 Oct, I haven't see the light yet!

  • I'm still waiting, ordered each of every colours

if it still hasn't arrived tomorrow I will have to lodge PayPal complaint…..

    • I received mine today, after I emailed them 3 weeks ago asking where they were and they apologised because they were out of stock of colours. If you haven't followed up 3 weeks ago, expect they will arrive your place in three weeks time from today. In time for Xmas.

  • HaHAha, just received mine today (Perth - WA).
    Very nice flashlight.
I ordered only 1 which was the army green (dark green).

    • -2

They very good flashlights, Cree is awesome. Go spotlighting at night, I guarantee you'll have fun blinding koalas/possums high up in them trees. They make an awful sound when they hit the ground though :(

      • that's cruel….imagine someone point that to your eyes & make you feel dizzy!

        • Cheer up buttercup, it was a joke.
