No idea why you got negged. This is exactly what I am going to do.

      • Me too. My 2 yo boy drinks like he will never get enough.

  • My 80L tank + 2 x 5L jerry cans will net me an additional saving of $5.40. It all adds up!

    • 90L fuel tank + 2x 20L jerry cans that I bought from repco a few months back should be even better then. Just have to make sure im running as close to empty as possible.

    After petrol just went up.

spending extra on inflated prices to receive a discount does not equate to a bargain

Yeah for sure, unfortunately some of us can't go a week or two without petrol or others might have not filled up when cheap, so have to fill up regardless so this is a bonus regardless. Hopefully the price goes down next week before this promo expires!

    Exclude recharge… sad

Need to check the truck (prado) in the morning takes 150 ltr no problems, only use it for longer trips, shopping trolley for everyday use only 44? ltr's capacity. Fuel around here is 159.9 so still not a bargain, last week 136.9. They play us for fools.

Another item that you can get at the same price as Coles Supermarket is Coles Bread 700gm for $2.30. If I was doing this I'd probably use 2 x 2 litres of Coles Milk and two loaves of Coles bread.

Weird, I thought both Coles and Woolies were sticking to no more than 4c discounts
    http://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/coles-and-woolworths-un…
yet both have reneged this week.

The above offer can be taken up on its own or combined with the supermarket offer. They are not forcing you to go to Coles supermarkets in order to get the combined 10 cent offer. The qualification for the 6 cent offer is all done instore at the Coles Express so the petrol station side of the business is funding the fuel discount. In this way it conforms with the recent ACCC agreement.

Recently WW had to change their "extra 4 cent" discount conditions. You can now spend $5 instore at WW/Caltex outlets to get a 4 cent discount without having to use a Supermarket discount for 4 cents as well.

  • This has been extended until the 25th of May.
