Nespresso Essenza with Aeroccino 3 $80 after $60 Cashback @ The Goodguys

100

This sale has been offered for some time now in TGG website. At least since last March.

It's an entry level Nespresso machine.

Nespresso system IMO much better than other system such as Nescafe Dolce Gusto.

Pros:

  • Nespresso is using 19 bar, NOT 15 bar
  • Coffee quality is much better and it has a wide range
  • The pod is made from aluminium, NOT from plastic such as other systems. Safer for your health.
  • Nespresso Boutique (which is like an Apple Store :)) and Nespresso Club

Just got one in TGG Moorabin VIC, advertised as $149 in TGG online, but I got it for $140. The price is cheaper even comparing to Amazon or other coffee system :)

ALDI's coffee machine for example, you have to pay $79. But this does not include milk frother :) You have to pay extra $35 for the frother.

Kmart's Nespresso-compatible coffee machine is $49 without the frother, but you pay what you get :) it's so plasticky and not quite elegant.

Dolce Gusto Picolino and Me have been discounted 1/2 price at Coles this week, it does not contain milk frother too.

Also if you love to spend a better machine, this sale is also interesting, Nespresso Pixie with Aerrocino for $189 ($129 after cashback, however you can get more discount if you go in store :)) the link is http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/Nespresso_Breville_P…

TGG Moorabin also has Nespresso Essenza DeLonghi EN95S, a better model, for just $5 more. This is not found in their online site. You can see the sample as in: http://www.eljo.com.au/delonghi-essenza-nespresso-coffee-mac…

Buying via TGG Online you have to pay extra for shipping fee. Not all TGG has Nespresso Essenza stocks. In VIC, you can only pickup in Moorabin and Dandenong store. You can check via TGG website by defining your pickup store.

  • Where's the profit?

    • Sell the Aeroccino 3? :)

    • Pods.

    • Sorry, my bad… I was thinking the Dolce Gusto offer was $69 after the cashback.

  • How do you get cashback? I dont see it mentioned anywhere…

  • does anyone know where I can get a quick guide which shows the difference in Nespresso machines? utthinking of getting one for work but no idea which would be suitable. they seem to do more or less the same thing with different prices…

      • the essenza isn't listed there? did a new model replace it?

        • +1

Good point. I believe the Essenza is a special model that is sold to certain stores. At one stage they were even selling different colours to different stores. The main difference with this model is you push the button to start the coffee flow and push it again to stop it. The more expensive models have a button for a small coffee (espresso) and a button for a large coffee, so the stop automatcally.

        • thanks for that.

  • Have it and hate it. Only fits small cups!

  • Dolce Gusto Picolino and Me have been discounted 1/2 price at Coles this week, it does not contain milk frother too.

Because it doesn't need a milk frother.. It can froth itself without a separate frother. it's built in. The cappucino and hot chocolate milk pod froths the milk automatically, and much faster with no cleaning required.

That's one thing it has over other machines, not that I am recommending it.

    • If you can call pushing water through some milk powder frothing…
Plus you can't make scrambled eggs with the Dolce Gusto.

      • What comes out is frothed milk and I don't have to do it myself.
