Pretty good value as the double movie voucher is worth $20 (that's how much it costs to get through Telstra rewards at least). Might take the family for lunch this weekend.

It only takes a couple of dishes at Phoenix to rack up $40

  • Nothing at Westfield Airport West (VIC) http://www.westfield.com.au/airportwest/events

  • Nandos would be a great place. With a nano VIP reward program, $40 spent would be clearly enough to earn you a free meal on your birthday.

  • I threw away my Toscani's receipt from last week!!! How was this not posted on the 14th???

Thanks OP for catching this one! Good work!

  • Nice, i'll give it a go

    just a head up.
You can spend a total of $40 over multiple restaurants over the same day.
I spent $29.10 at Bamboodle then $12.50 at Max Brenner, total $40.60.
Got 2 tickets which expires in October.
    btw, they stamp your receipts.

  • Remember to claim on the day. (Concierge generally closes at 6pm so harder to do so for dinner)

Grill'd and Nando's both have meal deals with movie tickets. I've yet to try those since the two times I've gone I've been with more people, but you may be able to get tickets twice if they don't care what you ordered as long as you hit $40.
Grill'd: Burger with ticket for $25. (Usual price of burger $10-$15; not sure if steak sandwiches included) You do have to buy something more to hit $40..or buy two of the deals lol.
Nando's: Chick flick deal for something like $43 — two meals and two tickets.

  • I went to Phoenix twice during the Easter holiday and got 2 double movie passes.

Too bad it is while stock lasts.

  • Thanks OP, will go for lunch with the wife tomorrow.

    Guys,

I went to Phoenix Parramatta tonight and spent 80 bucks. Walked down to concierge and they said "Sorry, we ran out of tickets. The promotion is over and we have told retailers this as well".

I should have triple checked, but I seriously feel a bit ripped off now. Going to email centre management and see what they have to say.

    • We had the same today:
Went to Grilld but there was no spare tables so went for a walk to buy some time.
Walking past a concierge, I couldnt see any signage so thought I'd better check
Same story - no more tickets so get stuffed even though the promotion doesnt finish til tomorrow!

Glad I checked before we spent our money!
But also thinking about emailing and complaining…
