Bought and received a small SANTINI GREENEDGE RAIN JACKET. Very very small. Even small on my tiny girlfriend. Be careful with sizing.

    • Yes, these are race fits, upsize a size or two

      • Yep exactly.

yes, these are race fits, get yourself down to race weight.

I want to +ve. Seems like a great price for these nicks (I haven't used them myself) and Santini stuff is well made IMO.

    -start rant-
But i've got very strong opinions about riders wearing kits for teams they aren't contracted to. Nothing worse than seeing some hubbard cruising along in the Australian National Champion's jersey with his gut hanging over the handle bars. If you haven't earnt it, don't wear it!

Good price for the quality of the gear.

Don't really care about the design.

~Same price as T7/Cell stuff but obviously much better quality.

I race and don't wear any team kit…

But I know a lot of riders who A. Wear it as training kit on occasion not to wreck their good stuff come race day

    B. Same as a footy jersey, supporting your team/club some of the financial proceeds go back to the club.

What I do have a problem with, if it's fake kit… or if the individual actually thinks they are part of that team… (don't race with it… even a club race…)

    • I bought them for two reasons

      1. Affordable price for a good brand
      2. Scott Graphics (I ride a Scott CR1)

Needed a long sleeve as the mornings get cooler and colder

      A. What you do in the comfort of your own home, on your home trainer is your business. Out on the road the best way to get a jersey is to work hard and earn it.

      B. Not the same. These "games" you listed are for "players". You do not "play" at cycling.

      :)

having said all that. When i started I got around in some really bad Caisse d'Épargne team kit, until i learned. so maybe i'll give it a +ve

      • I think your "learning" needs some work, like I give two f's what you think about my attire, my LA Livestrong outfit is one of my favorites, that must mess with your opinion structure

        • LA Livestrong aint team kit, nor is it an awarded jersey. IMO: Approved, knock yourself out.

          Thanks chicken legs :)

    • When you're out riding in the dark before dawn, it doesn't matter a toss what's printed on the kit you wear - especially if you have a gilet over the top hiding your jersey anyway. That's a good time to wear out the jerseys that you're ashamed to wear in public… like all those ugly event jerseys that seem to accumulate in your lycra bag (hello Around The Bay In A Day jersey…).

Failing that… cheap nasty Chinese jerseys do the job (with decent knicks, of course… life's too short to wear bad knicks). The Chinese in-house designs tend to be embarrassingly ugly, so I can understand people getting fake team kit by preference.

Not for me - I'd prefer ugly in-house-design kit than real or fake team kit - but I have notoriously poor taste.

  • stop sharing this. i like to buy these every now and then

A few of the professional teams have these sales on for last season kit. Sky has 25% off their Rapha brand stuff, I saw some deals on the Katyusha webpage and the Drapac site had some good deals as well.

I would have no problem wearing the odd bit of team kit. Everything associated with my bike seams to be an advertising board from someone/thing or another. If I could get some comfy Assos or Rapha knicks cheap I couldn't care less what the advertising on the side said! Not sure I would want to parade about in the whole team kit though. Bloke on my Saturday morning bunch turns up in the whole Katusha kit, bike and all.

  • Got my Jersey and Bib Shorts, impressed with the quality, almost comparable to my Castelli Presto which cost twice the amount.
