why are PCCGs delivery prices so high? I got my g710+ from the logitech shop on eBay and there was no delivery charge. I think most of their stuff carries no delivery charge.

If you try to buy a couple of cables/cheap items from PCCG they slug you with huge delivery fees.

Because they charge the real cost of shipping via Australia Post and StarTrack whereas others like the Logitech Shop on ebay buy their goods really cheap and build the cost of delivery in. There is no such thing as free delivery, you either pay for it as a separate charge or built into the price.

    • I wouldn't say PCCG shipping is expensive. It's actually the real cost of delivery (having worked in a PC parts store myself). And when you pay for the StarTrack Express shipping, I find it's more than worth it. Never had an issue with them and has never taken more than 2 business days to Brisbane.

Don't hate on PCCG, they are realistic and they provide an easy to use estimate shipping button on the "cart" page. There are many other websites that don't and won't tell you postage details until your entering your payment.

      • I'm sorry but $17 dollars to ship RAM to WA and the bullshit surcharges are reason to hate.

They also skimp on the packaging and ship everything in either padded or unpadded parcel bags.

I don't hate them. I shop there all the time. Most of my PC stuff is from PCCG. I just think some items, especially items that don't need any special protection or are light, shouldn't cost >$15 to send to me.

Just ordered one for pickup tomorrow.

So anyone had first hand experience with these keyboards? Are they worthwhile?

From the reviews, says they're not really gaming keyboards as they lack macro keys(?) But I've got a Logitech G105 and have never ever touched a macro key..

    • Some gamers need macros and some others won't. Guess it depends what you play. However, red switches is definitely more targeted towards gamers then typers

    • i have owned a filco and one of these, and am very happy with this one, up there with the filco but better because backlit !

Macro keys just get in the way if you dont use them, which I dont.

  • Thinking of getting, is it a good price? Not really sure since shipping $15 so I may be paying more.
