  • As I said before, Eastbay had 20% off in every two months. It cancel out the shipping fee and now it's good time to buy.

    Paypal conversion was about 1USD - 0.89AUD

Just bought a pair or these for running

And added pair of socks to get it over $99

I've bought 5 pairs of Nike's with them in about the last year (not including this pair) and spent another $400 or so on clothes, its my favorite place to shop for shoes and clothing by far.

Pay in USD on you 28 degrees mastercard for a better rate.

  • The shipping is kind of a deal breaker for me unless I'm missing something. (Free shipping promo US only)

Its $39.99 or 28% of the order total if I recall correctly (whichever is the greater).

You can still save a ton of money seeing as a lot of the bargain items there are half to a third of the cost if bought in a sporting shop in Australia.

Once the 20% comes off ($21 in my last order) it worked out to only paying $19 for shipping, but if you add say $150 to your cart it would be more like only $10 shipping if you think of it that way rather than 20% off your order total.

I would have to say I've probably saved close to $1000 (more than half of that on shoes) shopping at eastbay instead of local sports stores.

  • I just tried to buy some Asics Kayano 20's and it said they couldn't be shipped to Australia? Anyone know about this?

    • Yes they don't ship Asics to Australia, there is also another brand they aren't allowed to ship to Australia either but I can't remember what it was now.

      • VANS i believe

      • weird, i bought my Kayano 19's from them just over a year ago

  • is there a promo code for free shipping in US?

    • IPEB4RAC is the code to use for free shipping within the US… $75 or more

  • Cross post from another thread.

Does anyone know if it is worthwhile utilizing their free shipping within the USA and using a mail forwarder?

    Two potential upsides:

    1) You wouldn't need massive ($200+) orders to make shipping worthwhile

    2) Eastbay use expensive and fast UPS shipping, i'm sometimes in not that much of a hurry so there could be money to be saved by using the standard shipping via a mail forwarder.

    • From memory of other comments on here on previous deals, it works out roughly the same. Maybe $10 more or so for a pair of shoes shipped through mail forwarding. People were using it to get Asics. Have a look through old postings to get a better idea, or someone here might be able to help you.

  • Hey guys I know this offer is expired but, does anyone know if the shoes will get additional taxes on arrival? My total came down to $358.37 inc. postage.
I just don't want to pay any additional fees

    Thanks!
