Nikon J1 + 10-30 (Refurbished) + Lightroom 5 for Approx $188.11 Link in Description

190

Older camera, I have one already, but the kicker is the included Lightroom 5. This makes the deal all the sweeter. Not only do you get a great little camera (super fast AF in most conditions) but you get the software to edit the RAW files out of it. I am very tempted to get one for myself.

NOTE: only RED and WHITE available and that I have used the eBay conversion (so if you have a 28Deg or similar it will be cheaper again)

  • Wonder what the lightroom licence is… is it a full retail kit? or just a serial number (which could be dodgy)..?

    • eBay pictures show a LR box with a sticker saying "Only for sale with digital cameras" or some such.

      • I'm guessing it is diverging they do in the US. I saw this on NikonRumors. I bought one kit… Could not resist

        • What do you mean by diverging?

        • sorry I must have meant "something" I was typing on my phone

  • I was going to buy LR anyway, so this is a brilliant deal. Thanks OP!

    • then sell camera to me, that I do not use LR software, cheers :-)

  • If you need LR5 (best photo software out there) and a backup camera then this is a superb deal. To put in perspective these cameras were over $600 at launch and LR is $150-$200 product (or a $100 upgrade)

Anybody wanting to buy light room? ? I just needed the camera and bought one (thanks OP) but I don't think I need the light room 5.

    • Hi glengood,

Tried to shoot you a message but you do not accept new PMs. Could you send me a PM when free?

      Cheers

1,484 sold in 24 hours. Gee how many do they have. Found a warez site with lightroom 5.4 i will see what this is all about.

  • I have a nikon l820 but picture quality don't seem good in lower lighting will this be better and what is the warranty thanks.

  • Mods please mark as expired. Deals over now. I think they have run out of the cameras.

    • I just maraked it as expired….they sold 2000 units + whatever they sold the first day (I did notice they relisted it and restarted the sell count at some stage. Amazing how fast they sell in fire sale mode. Some talk on the NikonRumors site suggests that there may be a large amount of old stock (is been sitting in a warehouse) that has been sold as refurb under this deal.

Did you manage to get one?

      • Yeah camera is going to be a gift for my sister in-law. I decided to keep my S95 and S120 instead :P Pocketability is more important. If I am going to bring my camera out I will bring my D7000 out if I am I going to end up carrying a bag to hold it.

  • Thanks aim54x. Brought one yesterday. Mine conversion came to over $192 with the Citibank card.
Anyone know what is the warranty period of these refurbished camera ?

    • Not sure of the days but I would imagine it being Caveat Emptor because the warranty is Nikon USA warranty which is normally worthless here in Australia. So unless you send it back no coverage here.

    • I would assume no warranty as they are a Nikon USA product. In the USA they would carry a 90 day refurb warranty.

My 28 Degrees card gave me $187.73.

  • Anyone has the camera but don't want it? Please pm me..thanks!

  • Of those that ordered can you confirm what sort of tracking email did you receive from eBay and the seller.

I received a FedEx email from BuyDig and that shows that ie has been delivered to a place in Kentucky. When you look at the eBay message it has two lots of tracking information.

Is this due to the use of the Global Shipping Program?

    Thanks

    • Yes this is due to the Global Shipping Program (it sucks) Mine is showing that it is with FedEx sitting in Alexandria at the moment.

If you check your ebay account it will have your 2nd tracking number if you click on the tracking details. Mine looks like

"This parcel has been transferred to FEDKEB for delivery to the final destination # XXXXXXXXXXX"

Take that number and google it or throw it into FedEx's tracking system (if it is FEDKEB)

    • Mine arrived today via AusPost eParcel… Beats me as to why though. But it is here and I will pick it up tomorrow
