      Dad go home, you're drunk.

  • I've never had "good tequila", bit jesus christ i do adore tequila over vodka or gin. Do you all recommend this?

It's not the high end tequila you have to worry about, it's the low end stuff!

I find Don Julio Anejo is a smoother drop than Patron but if you've never tried a decent tequila then you should be impressed.

Sip it or try it with a Virgin Mary chaser but stay away from lemon and salt.

      I'm getting thirsty

      • agree 110%

Don Julio Reposado - hands down my favourite

        sip slowly !

The low end stuff caused me to want to spew at the very smell of tequila for many years with a bad experience but "good tequila" is something completely different I assure you. I normally stick to the white tequila's because I prefer the smoothness but most high end tequila's are a completely different breed than their cheaper counterparts.

+1 for staying away from lemon &/or salt with good tequila.

Why does drinking tequila make you want to bite JC?

Good tequila is quite different to the burning low end variety
Sip it and enjoy like a fine scotch

Patron is the Hennessy of tequilas. Purchase if you like paying extra money for rapper-endorsements. At the sale price, it's decent for an Anejo.

Don Julio, Herradura, Fortaleza, Casa Dragones, Pierde Almas, Tapatio and Ocho should all be on your list before this.

    • Add Casa Noble as well :)

  • Tequila+, recommended

  • A question for the tequila connoisseurs out there, how would you rate Avion compared with Patron?

Dan Murphy just started stocking Avion.

    • should check out the Nick's website. They're usually good for more interesting artisanal liquor… Just checked there's 97 products in the tequila/mezcal category
