The dudes behind Mr Burger are so stoked with the renos to their Therry St store that they've decided to do an Oprah and give you all FREE things. You get a burger! You get a burger! Every! Body! Gets! A burger! That is, if you get down to Mr Burger (opposite Vic Market) between 11.30am and 2pm this Saturday.
I haven't tried their burger but I hear it is good and well it's free so why not?

I can confirm that these burgers are good. They are incredibly good. Probably one of the best burger joints I've been to in awhile. Will definitely be taking advantage of this tomorrow.

Waited for about 40 minutes in the line and then another 15 minutes for the burger to be cooked. Got there at about 11:40 this morning.
Had the Mr Meat, it was slightly too sweet for my liking. Too much caramelised onion and the BBQ sauce was too sweet. Still prefers Grill'd :)
Kudos to Mr Burger for offering free burgers well past the cutoff time of 2.00pm, to those who were in line, (was served about 2.45pm). The burger I had, the Mr Burger burger was lovely.

wow kudos to them for actually keeping up and doing this deal. We all really expected them to set a limit or cut the line at some point.
I lined up at 1, got my burger about 1:30 or 1:45. At that point they had done 580 people I was told.
That's a lot of burgers and a lot of work. Hope it pays off for them.
I bought some chips to give them some moolah, but I think the burgers are better. Chips had a nice shaker flavour thing on them but not really my thing.
