Telerik are giving away some of their Windows tools during TechEd 2014 (13-15 May Houston, TX, USA) for free! Great set of developer tools (.NET) for developing apps for Windows phone and Windows 8.

    Presumably it will come with no upgrade rights (which the do every quarter)? and only the ex-Metro (now 'modern style'?) items, but still… they're a good company with good products. Nice

      It comes with 1 year of upgrades, you can see the expiry date when you log into your account.

    Ok, so I think what we've all just 'bought' is a platform from which developers can create OS specific apps with fluid and functional UIs.

    Utterly useless for me. Got it anyway.

    Any actual developers here?

      Telerik libraries are really good but these ones are only good for Win8/WinPhone not their ASP.net ones which are amazing, I'm surprised Microsoft don't own them yet.
