  • Whilst free is good. They have not had any good songs since the rush of blood album

    • My thoughts also, but this album has about five really solid tracks, like old school stuff, give it a chance, free after all.

My picks - Oceans, Midnight, Magic (although hammered on commercial radio), A sky full of stars and O.

Yeah, only coldplay album I actually like, rest is trash, TRASH.

OMG ITS LIKE PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS AND LIKES OR SOMETHING.

        • Well played… Who neggd: sigh

        • I KNOW RIGHT?! HOW DARE THEY! XD

    • Well Chris broke up with gywneth, so whether or not it was a rush of blood to the head or if it happened at the speed of sound, hopefully the band isn't yellow enough to produce a couple of good songs, mylo xyloto was a fizzer to me considering their past catalogue!

      • Ha ha haaa

      • You mean consciously uncoupled… ;)

        • I do, but breaking up might make for better song writing! :)

  • It's released May 16 on iTunes Store in Australia, just fyi. Also, not sure if it will happen in Australia, but Target America has a Deluxe Edition with three extra tracks on it, not sure when that is coming out here - http://www.target.com/p/coldplay-ghost-stories-deluxe-editio…

you have to click on the little Watch Video button

      • Ah, many thanks. I didn't even look twice at the video.

  • Just had a listen….songs are unlike any of their previous albums…def better than Mylo Xyloto :)
If anything this sounds more like their old stuff

  • Sounds good. Better than Mylo Xyloto (what the hell title was that?!)
I really like the video - really adds to the digital experience.
