    • $4.95 for del
    • not for me? $0 syd

      • imagine that! DSE website giving inconsistent results

  • I think the reason no one has bothered to list it is cause frankly .. its oh so so

I looked and clicked away thinking "Meh no bargain here"

And almost everyone is recieving these emails from DS anyway.

Still, I think it's good that these deals get posted regardless.

      • Indeed. Those that care about it are getting the emails/are aware of the original OzB listing with hourly updates in it already.

    • I saw it earlier and didn't list it because it is a dupe of this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/144087

There is also no free shipping, so the deal is incorrect.

Expired now anyway, DSE have fixed the price back up to 49.99, but the listing still shows 19.99. Will show 49.99 when you add it to your basket.

All the votes are from people not actually going through with an order.

      • Except for mine, at the very least. I voted it up because regardless of whether or not it may technically be a dupe, and aside from the fact that I also knew about it earlier, it would have been more likely to catch the attention of someone who was only interested in Eneloops, like me, particularly since Eneloops aren't specifically mentioned in the title of the post you linked to.

        • did you get free delivery?!?

Good deal if you did. Still technically a dupe though.

  • No Bargain. Same as yesterday.

Seems like eneloop batteries are always "on sale".
To the point where if you are so stupid and rich to buy it at RRP you must be Gerry Harvey or Jow HOckey

  • Damn!

I bought them online yesterday morning, paying $4.95 delivery!

    • You're not from around here are you?

  • does anyone know how much will the tablet at 5-6pm be (Toshiba encore)?

  • Yum - they look delicious.

But the shipping is charging for me too. Sounds like a non-deal.

I wonder why the AAA don't come on sale as often

    • I think AA's are more in demand because they're more likely to be used in all sorts of high-drain devices where there are significant savings to be made.

I have a few AAA NiMH batteries, but they're either sitting around doing nothing or are in remotes where they will probably remain for a year or so. So there's just not much activity on that front, and I bet a significant number of people are perfectly content to just keep using cheap zinc-carbon/chlorides for such purposes, and probably alkies too.

  • $4.95 delivery kills it unless I am ordering 5 or more in qty.

  • Apparently valid until 1PM.

  • Lots of people comparing to yesterday's deal. These are AA, not AAA.

OP, you might want to mention this in the title. You also need to add that these are online only and have a delivery cost (for baskets under $99).

This is also a dupe of: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/144087

  • We all get the emails!!! not a bargain anymore as most of us have 2 pack of tropicals :p

I have too many eneloops as it is, so the only attraction to me was the tropical colours. When I saw the postage I left the wallet alone. Dick can only slightly beat overseas vendors when they have sales (and no doubt they want to make some room for the new 2100 cycle Panasonic eneloops, which they still aren't selling).

    Awesome. Thanks OP!!!

I'll add it to the other 3,242 Eneloop batteries I've bought through OzB

  • I'm too late to the party.

Maybe I should quit work to stay home and watch OzB.

    • It's not as though they will never be this price again.
