  Just a FYI - Slabs (rectangular pizzas) have more crust-to-toppings ratio than round pizzas.

  When I worked for pizza hut 11 years ago, Rectangular pizzas used the same amount of dough/base as a regular pizza, but a lot less toppings (the expensive stuff when making a pizza).

    Although your logic is flawed. You also contradicted yourself

    OK I did the maths. You have more topping ratio on a round pizza than you do on a rectangle pizza.

    Say you have a 20x10cm square pizza. Total area = 200cm (squared)
    Say we use topping to 1 cm away from edge. Total ares topped = 18x8 = 144cm (squared)

    Now to make a pizza with same area of 200cm (squared) we need to use a radius of 7.98cm

    Again using topping to 1 cm away from edge we would use a radius of 6.98cm of topping.
    A circle area of radius 6.98 is 153cm (squared) which means more topping is required.

    So a round pizza costs an extra 6.25% of toppings to the same size rectangle pizza

      I think you might have just proven snowblindz point.. which was that there is less topping on a rectangular pizza of same base area.

  Last time I bought one of these Chef's Best pizzas, there was so much sauce on top I coudn't taste anything else.

  I complained and got no further than their complaint person.

  Poor product and poor following up.

  Dominos - never again.

    I also had a bad experience with Chefs Best, and complained and was offered a free pizza, which was another Chefs Best, so did not bother taking up the offer. Have not been back to Dominos since, and this was over a year ago.

    Chefs Best sure is a poor product, now i only bother with Gourmet Pizza from local highly rated pizza places, works out OK with Menulog and Eat Now codes.
