  • Wow at full price you could probably rent an apartment for the same amount.

One month for $211? Sharing with how many?

      • by full price he probably meant $822, i honestly don't know how many Ozbargain members would pay that and not hang their head in shame…

If you're going for a month, you can probably manage to just take a train…?

or even a cab - depending on how far you are away and the number of passengers!

      • Cab from Northern suburbs, for 4 people is about $120, and you do risk to get a sleepy driver ( happened to us ), then on return it's another $130. So it might be a bargain fi you're further out like Hornsby or Castle hill.
Question is: Where is the car safer? In my driveway/garage ot at the airport?

Its useful if you're travelling from outside of Sydney, eg. Canberra. If you have a family of 3 or 4 it works out to be cheaper to drive to the airport and pay for the parking instead of hiring a car both ways or travelling by bus.

  • Err, paid 240 for three weeks a couple of months ago. This is a good deal!

    • It might say "Minimum stay 1 month" so not valid for 2 weeks only, you have to leave the car there for another 3 weeks :-)

  • Ugh presumably these are people scammed by the park & fly mob. Who bought double spots for $104k with guaranteed return of 6k a year for 5 years.

    • Wow, at that rate it would take 17 years to break even.

A true Ozbarainer would drive the car to the nearest unresticted parking area (Moscat, Roseberry and Wolli Creek, etc) and then book an Uber car (hope it's still legal) from the parking spot to airport.

    • A TRUE ozbargainer of would have another oz bargainer drive them…

      • But then the Ozbargainer would be using fuel that costs money.

  • looking for 10 days car parking for international terminal, any idea? morning flight

A bargain yes, but only because the normal price is one of the biggest gouges in history
