1kg Ethiopian Coffee Fresh Roasted $29.95 FREE Shipping @ Safari Roast

80

After a mass overhaul of our business operations, we've got a beautiful sun dried Ethiopian bean to offer for only $29.95 including Australia wide shipping. It's a beautiful bean that has a delightful berry brightness and medium body that makes a fantastic pour over or fruity espresso, as well as having some tasty hazelnut sweetness that appears when you have this with milk. It's a very unique bean with some beautiful characteristics that show how enjoyable this style of processing can be. Its a remarkably smooth bean and represents great value and very easy drinking as we move into the winter months. For further details and tasting notes, check out the link given.

  • thanks got one

    • thank you, hope you enjoy :)

  • When were these roasted?

    • Hi Sylon,
All orders are roasted as received, then packed and sent. Taking postage times into account, they'll usually be received 2-5 days after roasting. This particular bean takes about 7 days onwards to reach its best for espresso :)

Cheers thanks for the reply. I may order some later this week. Going to the Melbourne international coffee expo that's on this week!

        • That's guaranteed to be a coffee lover's dream come true, have fun!

      • hmm… many places roast once every week. How is it feasible to roast each order? I buy similar eithopian from 5 senses $15 fpr 250grams.

        • we roast in smaller batch roasters as opposed to the much larger roasters used by larger roasting houses such as 5 senses, hence it becomes more feasible for us to roast on such a basis :)

When JV's online. Usually the OB community produces enough of a roasting for him to cover a few hundred batches of coffee.

  • I need to get more coffee beans soon but a bit reluctant to order.
I got the Zimbabwe Peaberry deal last time (January) and although enjoyable, most of the beans were the normal bean, not the small single Peaberry type bean, as described.

    • Hi macamca,
We do apologise for whatever went wrong with your order. If you'd like to email us with your order details etc from January if you still have them, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you and sort it out and take whatever steps we need to in order to give you the best possible experience :)

  • Link says 950g, not 1kg? I assume this is because of postage price cutoffs from your postage supplier?

    • hi Salem, sorry about that, yeah 950gm due to the unfortunate rise in postage prices, we apologise for any confusion

  • Just ordered, thanks! Quick note though, once you complete the PayPal transaction, you're taken back to a page on the website that says, "Content not found". No big deal, just thought I'd pass it on…

    • Cheers for the heads up, always appreciate knowing what little bugs may be in the coding :)

  • Is it possible for you to roast specifically for filter? Thanks Max :)

    • Hi Max, If you want to email us with your details etc, we can roast it to suit filter no probs

  • Thanks Rep. I'll dig up the order and forward to you.
