Beware! This game has been spoken of as the Shane tWatson of cricket games..

Best cricket game ever made apparently. Patches will fix up some of the problems.

I'm going to wait for the PC version in June though.

      • yea +1 to that

only heard positive reviews about this game.

      tWatson

Was that a typo, or an in-joke I'm not aware of?

      • son , would you like a ba dum tss?

  • Was so eager to buy this around the time the ashes were on, but just lost interest as the rugby season took over. Although I do enjoy the IPL atm.

The best cricket game in years

Well, if Ashes Cricket 2013 is some of its recent competition then that isn't much of a competition.

Old international cricket on snes was awesome. The old shane warne cricket by codemaster too. Didn't much like the ea sports ones

    • I think I chucked my biggest wobbly ever gaming, playing shane warne cricket on the ps1

Please bear in mind that this game is unlike the pick up and play EA Sports Cricket 07

The main game mode is career mode where you create your own player and work up through the state, county and international levels.

You won't be able to score 30+ off the over after 10 minutes. Infuriating at times but incredibly rewarding when you reach milestones

It's like the F1 series vs Gran Turismo.

    Cricket simulation rather than "game"

  • good game

  • They should just concentrate on making an twenty20 game only.. I mean, who wants to sit through 100+ overs each side to make 300-400 runs? No one.. as interesting as it is actually playing or watching that sort of game, the format doesn't make for a good game.. Make it 20 overs, that way you can belt the stuffing out of the ball, games are short, or if you're having a bowl, there's something to aim for with the limited overs.. I think all cricket games are destined to fail if they go for a traditional 50 over or test match format.. we all just want to have a slog!
