  • You've doubled up on the description

  • Paragraph one and two made me feel like I was repeating myself!

The deal was so great we accidentally submitted the text twice, we’ve fixed it now though, same sweet deal proper description. Enjoy

Are you able to upload a sample video captured by this DVR?

I know many Chinese sellers lied about the product specifications and I don't want to waste time to send it back. It's not worth the hassle!

Here's a video review for it
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0VeVaOykAM

From all accounts I've seen it's decent for the price

        • As people said battery is no good if the car need to park under the sun a lot.

The G1W-C version is better by using capacitor but more expensive.

Is it really need to worry?

        • If you are going to be leaving it in the car when parked then I suggest getting G1W-C.

  • As I told your customer support the web site keep adding 3.xx to shipping fee.

    • Finally they fixed the shipping fee.

  • Is this the G1W?

  • Sorry just click on your page. It is the G1WH.
Too bad I just ordered one last week at higher price.

    Good deal!

    • And they already shipped your order in less than a week?

      • Ship yes, arrive not.
Would have been handy to record an idiot who decide to reverse his car in the traffic light :/

  • I bought a GW1H from another vendor (on eBay), supposedly the latest 2014 model, but it did no have the advertised 720P @ 60fps option. Luckily the vendor paid for the return postage by way of a discount on a DVR with Ambarella chipset that does have 720px60.

  • @Rep - how do you search your site by warehouse?

You had two warehouses located in China?

    • This function is currently being developed and will be released soon in the new website. You can currently browse between USA and UK warehouses. Full search options will be released with the update.

      • You can currently browse between USA and UK warehouses.

Can we order from your USA and UK warehouse without restriction?

        • Our warehouses overseas have no order quantity restrictions we do however have only selected products available in the warehouses in UK and USA, these warehouses also only serve the local countries. USA (USA, Canada And Brazil), UK (EU and UK).

        • these warehouses also only serve the local countries. USA (USA, Canada And Brazil), UK (EU and UK).

So you don't ship from your oversea warehouse to Australia?

  • +1

Do you have the G1W-C? This uses a capacitor instead of battery so it's perceived to be safer during the hot summer.

    • ~

    • Delfredo we have the G1W-C and are just adding the description and then it will be uploaded to the website, currently this is the only model available at the special price.

      • It's still not up yet, is it?

        • +1

          Yeah been waiting.

        • +1

probably till they finish the stocks of G1W first.

I have bought many an item from Banggood, but have recently had my first bad experience, which has bred a frustrating but amusing exchange of emails.

I ordered two Sipik clones a couple of weeks ago, one of which was so dim it was barely noticeable in a dark room. After sending them the requested video and being told that each of these torches is slightly different and that this is only normal 'chromatic abberation' (lol @ technical physics terms in an otherwise barely intelligible email), I was offered 300 points and 5% off a purchase from 'beauty & health' (more lol, I have only ever bought torches from them).

Only just this hour, 'LED professional guy' responded to my latest email to say that they could refund 'about $2', because it still works.

At least these guys are more communicative than other China sellers (ie DX), but still annoying. I hope to get a refund shortly, from PayPal if not from Banggood, but I thought I'd share for others anyway. Banggood is OK for things that are $4, but if somewhere else decent is selling this for $50+, i'd go elsewhere. Unless you want to run the risk of being offered cheap beauty goods.

    • Hi Branko
If the product is not as described then there is grounds for a refund, however if the product is described correctly and it is still working then it is still a working product. Customer service were wrong to offer you a beauty and health coupon. You have the right to PayPal dispute if you are not happy with our service, I would ask you email [email protected] first and explain you are unhappy with their decision.
      Thanks

Just because the torch I received is a torch and turns on does not make it 'as described' and 'still working'. I own about 15 sipik clones, and am not taking about advertised lumens vs real lumens. This thing is DIM, like 2-3 lumens max. Even after sending a video, I was told this is 'still working'.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over a couple of bucks, I just don't appreciate being given BS on chromatic aberration from someone who sounds like they have been told to dish it out as a fob off, followed up by a negligible discount on beauty and health products.

No doubt I will probably buy more of these things next time they are cheap on here, but I wouldn't be spending $50 with these guys.

  • Cheaper on eBay.com.au at $57:49 with free delivery at …
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Full-HD-1080P-G1WH-2-7-LCD-Car-DV…

    • This works out at ~$53AUD delivered (via paypal)

In hundreds of orders and several thousand spent, have never had an issue with quality, nor deliveries not showing.

    I rather love bang good!
I research well and buy cheap 'crap' without expecting the world (pleasantly surprised most of the time though) as well as more expensive items that I know will perform as good (usually far better than) their price suggests

Bang good are also generally cheaper than everyone else!

No I'm not associated, just a very happy shopper

Sorry OP, dont mean to kill your vibe, but all these made in china 1080p cams all have similar video quality.

I got mine for around $30 from ebay, good 1080p full HD videos:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/351050965284?ssPageName=STRK:MEWN…

    • hows the video recoding quality of this one that you purchased?
looks good from the pictures they have shown 1080p

    • +1

No youtube review we cannot tell and no spec at all. Are u sure 1080p 30fps?

G1W is the best at the moment at that price range.

      http://dashcamtalk.com/

      Yours is 1080p 24fps, 1.3MP CMOS Len.

Not all 1080p are the same, do more research first.

      http://www.amazon.com/Vehicle-Camera-Recorder-G-sensor-Gs800…

      • Many of the online dash cams have different internals with the same plastic moulding. cheaper for the factories to produce them.

        mine:
        http://postimg.org/image/wk389bprv/

I'll put up a sample soon.

        • yea there seem to be some fakes with a cheaper processor

        • Yes there are. I received one with a inferior chipset and sensor from ebay. I knew it was too good to be true, when the seller advertised it as a G1W at $40 a few months back.

Disputed and got my $$ back and got to keep a really crappy camera.

        • +1

Use it but point it at the rear! Its better then nothing and its FREE

    • They're $11.66 cheaper than their competitor.

  • it still charge AU$3.94 shipping

  • Just tried to order one and the total comes to US$50.27 which includes shipping fee $3.58

    • me too

      Order Subtotal: AU$62.79
      Shipping Fee: AU$3.94
      Coupon Discount: AU$11.35
      Grand Total: AU$55.38

      what gives?

  • If the product is faulty, where do I send it back to and who pays for the shipping fee both ways?

  • Seems to me all the below models are only a few bucks different so I do wonder which is the pick out of the lot:

    G1W - 120 degree wide angle. 2.7" screen. battery
    G1W-H - 140 degree wide angle. 2.7" screen battery
    G1W-C - 120 degree wide angle. 2.7" screen. Capacitor
    G10W - 170 degree wide angle. 3" screen. battery
G30….and the list goes on and on….

    • +3

      G1W-C it uses capacitor.

we ordered a few things from these guys.
The descriptions are a bit confusing (e.g. Peppa Pig family toys, actually were individual characters, even though it was described as "the whole set".
The Tetris lamps, we ordered one, only 1/2 worked, submited a you-tube video to show this, they sent another for free (without having to send the faulty one back), this was also faulty, but we made sort of one set out of the two.

I wouldn't buy electrical goods off them again (>$10), but they're a lot more reasonable for replacements then other .cn suppliers.

    • I hope so, am still hoping for a refund or replacement. Not keen on the 5% discount on beauty and health products they offered for sending me a faulty torch.

  • does it come with adhesive mount? suction mount can't get to the dotted area on windscreen

    • No. Suction only.

  • Is this promotion still on? just tried entering the coupon code but did not work :-(

    • you need to login first.

      • +1

Still work for me no need to login and no shipping fee now.

    • Still works for me - 25th May. Try clearing browser cookies or using a different browser, as I found the shipping cost dropped to $0 (from $1-3) when I used a diff browser that had not visited the site before.

Also remember to set currency to USD (if it sets AUD) as your credit card conversion (zero if using 28 Degrees card) will probably be better.

  • Mine gets frozen on the opening screen every now and then, rep can you do something about it? I already emailed customer service

    • I wouldn't buy anything from banggood, I emailed them a few videos showing the unit I got is frozen and they wont warrant it, only offering $8 and 200 points

  • Has anyone received their DVR from banggood? I ordered two units from them with this promotion and still nothing. When checked they said to wait!?!
