  • Does it work with just a balance check?

    • +1

YES. But make sure you print the receipt.

I usually check my balance, get a receipt, withdraw $20, and get a receipt.
Voucher for the next day as well :D

      • ahh those were the days

  • Are there any ATM fees for CBA customers?

    • +3

No.. Bankwest belongs to CBA. so no ATM fees.

        Bankwest belongs to CBA.

That would explain why their service is so poor.

        • I believe CBA is the best bank.. Most uptodate with technology.. i wouldnt want to be with any other bank

I believe CBA is the best bank..

Bankwest isn't. It took over 3 weeks to get an account open even though all the paper work and verifications were done correctly. Then, the documentation on how to access and use your account was wrong in many places.

It's been around for a very long time already. Seems to be on a sort of rotation of large coffee/hot choc, slurpee up size, muffin and a few others. Be great to have the entire list and schedule.

Save your money if your work has a coffee machine (for obvious reasons).

Save your money if your work has a coffee machine

Most people's work would not have an ATM though.

  • Does balance check have any surcharges if i have a keycard?

    • There are no fees for CBA customers on Bankwest ATMs.

If you're with ING Direct, you could withdraw >=$200 from the ATM, get your coffee or hot chocolate, go to the nearest post office and deposit the money back into your ING account. The things we do to save money ;)

    • It's free from ING side, but is it free from the Commbank side?

      • I don't think so, a couple I have been to charge $2-2.50. Think it might really depend on which one you go to, i think one in chatswood might charge but am not 100% sure

        • Withdraw more than $200 and ING Direct refunds the ATM fee.

        100% FREE FOR COMMBANK CUSTOMERS.

  • Is this on the front or the back of the receipt ?

If it is on the back, it will all depend on if they have just replaced their receipt rolls with the most recent one…

    • +2

It prints on the front after the important stuff regarding you bank account

  • This has been the case for ages, at least a year at 7/11 on the Gold Coast.

  • it is printed on the bottom part of your receipt. They just scanned the barcode, teared the bottom part and give me back the rest of my receipt.
