  • These deals are there everyday. No mention of what brand suits without logging in.
    More of a forum item.

    • 2 Piece Suite is a Pierre Cardin
      Charcoal Pants are both Zanebono
      Shoes are Windsor Smith

  • In that case, not exactly bargain then.
If those Windsor Smith shoes are going for under $40 then maybe have a look, but they are horrible looking shoes anywho.

  • 66% polyester, 26% viscose, 8% wool

Not enough wool for my liking.

Pity The Mens Shop is not around anymore

    • Funny that tradesecret and themensshop both owned by Gazal Corp.

"Through the day-to-day operation of The Mens Shop, the site’s operators realised the huge potential latent in the Van Heusen brand – changing the store over to one dedicated to Van Heusen is a clear statement that the company intends to put its best foot forward."

      Sad.

This suit will be made of Polyester Viscose probably. These don't wear very well, they're stiff and don't shape to your body. They don't breath so you sweat, then you smell. They don't launder very well and crease easily.

    tl;dr don't buy.

Recommend those that want a good quality suit at a cheap price go to http://www.Myhabit.com (Amazon site). Factor in alterations and you'll still save a ***tload compared to buying locally. My last 4 suits have been bought through them. Last one was Cerruti suit that sells her for about $1495. I paid $500 (inc shipping) + est. $80 in alterations (I'm fussy - could keep it to $25 if I wanted).

They have lower tier brands too like CK etc. Rotating catalogue though, but I can share a source backdoor access to the 'full catalogue' of links if anyone is interested.

    • Interesting, thanks for the tip. I'm definitely interested in your catalogue of links if you don't mind sharing.

  • Conner also are having a sale $50 off some suits $199 down to $150 good for a jacket and pants if you need them in a pinch
