I saw this in my local Coles store (VIC) and picked up only 1 as I wasn't sure whether it was for this product (because the next label said 16 AA for $19). Anyways, didn't wanna get greedy…not your rechargeable ones, but at $6, it works out to 37.5c per AA which is a pretty sick deal!

Unless off course you are my neighbour who mentioned to me that "Cursor is the sickest" (whatever the hell that means!)

Unclear if this is in many stores, but currently stock available in Coles VIC Malvern

**Edit: Guys and Gals, the catalog for this week has a picture of a 10 pack at $6…whilst instore and in the scanners, the 10+6 pack is scanning for $6. So, I think if somebody wants to try picking up the 10 pack listed at $19.95 and scan it, they can get it for free :) — worth a try if anybody wants to try it out **

      Err, just feel the weight of the dura cells. Now go do the same for varta. Then go weigh the crappy Philips you get from Harvey Norman for cheap.

      Now, go test those batteries for run time.

      Then come back and tell me there's a correlation between weight and longetivity and you're sorry for insinuating that xxx brand of cheapy battery is better than a decent Duracell

          Me too - they're good performers, I haven't had any problems with leakage and Bunnings' price is always very cheap.

          Have to agree with JV for once LOL… Varta have always delivered very good results for me, definitely better than Duraleak.
          I have seen battery reviews that included Varta and they rated higher than Duraleaks in that, in fact they were in the top few.

    I believe this might have come up last time there was a 10 pack AA deal at Coles and people reported back it was only for the 10+6 16 packs (10 plus 6 free) and it did not apply to the normal 16 packs.

    It is a good deal if you can get it given Coles already say the 10 packs are half price, just be careful which pack you pick up.

    aha. there is an australian rapper called Kerser, who i believe refers to himself as "the sickest". i don't really listen to his music, but apparently "kerser is the sickest" is somewhat of a catchphrase for him and his fans.

    My qld coles only had the 10 pack for $6, I didn't know dura cells had leaking issues… Now I know to get vartas instead in the future….
