  • Awesome Game! Takes some getting used to but very addictive!

  • I don't like Football.
    I love management games.

Am I going to get any enjoyment out of this? This is an actual, legitimate, non-troling question.

    • Prob not, but apparently it's the most played game on Steam

Disclaimer: I haven't actually played the game

      • There is a Demo for this game.

    • As far as management games go, it's the most in-depth one you'll probably ever find. It's complex, has a high learning curve, and enough depth to really satisfy for hundreds of hours (I have at least 250 in it now).

That said, it's difficult to learn if you don't know much about football. The tactics, squad selection, formations, transfer markets etc can be a nightmare to make sense of if you're not already familiar with the game. That said, I didn't know much about the game beforehand, and managed to learn what I needed to through guides on the internet.

I think you need to like both football and management to enjoy this fully. If you've no love for the game, it's not going to do much for you. If you even half-like football, then it may do wonders for you.

Mister Red, I debate your "Most in-depth management game you'll ever find" and raise you one Dwarf Fortress.

    • You can have the matches auto generate without watching them. If you turn off all the additional support management aspects the game could probably overwhelm you with depth. If you like sports management games, then yes, I think you would get enjoyment out of it. There is heaps to tweak in terms of contracts, training, development, growth etc so it can be complex if you choose it to be.

Maybe check some YouTube reviews to see whether this management being football focus would overwhelm the management aspects of it.
