        Although I got my coffee grinder in store yesterday at 20% off after talking to a sales assistant and they mentioned they could because there was a sale on the weekend anyway.

        I am pretty sure they would honour in store today if you show them the website.

          Yep they were happy to honour in store given I just pulled out my phone and asked if they'd agree to their online pricing.

          Then of course I found that the item I was purchasing was excluded but I managed to talk them into a 20% discount since it didn't go below cost and the margin was acceptable.

      Yes, this works! That's what I did to buy BOSE QuietComfort 20i Active Noise Cancelling in-ear headphones. Price was $399 reduced to $319 then 10% off using Big W purchased Myer gift card comes to around $287!

    Probably some good bargains to be had (eg the BOSE headphones which get great reviews) but Myer shot themselves in the foot with their price matching policy a while back. They'll still deal occasionally and I used to buy there regularly but these days I rarely set foot in their stores or look at their deals. Can't be good for business.

        They effectively have a discretionary price match policy - if the competitor price is below MYER cost, they won't price match it.
