I find it hard to believe they were selling a 5 year old camera at near RRP until this clearance.

kamoi: just reporting what i saw in store..
the clearance cameras i saw in store were not advertised online so thought i would let my fellow ozbarginers know.
i am not in the market for an underwater camera how ever i picked up a sony camcorder very cheap on clearance with the extra 10% off.
$90 for underwater 720pHD up to 3m depth is still good IMO regardless.

If this is old stock the waterproof seals may have perished. Just something to consider if it is really old stock.
In a previous BigW deal on waterproof cameras, the seals needed to be replaced annually, at almost the deal price of the camera.
And note that 3m limit. Attach a buoyancy device. If it sinks in 3+m, it is finished.
Probably limited stock & may not be available at other stores.
