Got a junk email from AGL. Posting it as a deal before I unsubscribe :-P
Single unit price is $54 with free delivery. The 4 pack is better value for $179 ($44.75 each)

Here's the details from the email:

How good would it be to arrive home to a warm living room? Or be certain that the iron was switched off when you left this morning?

Now with a WeMo Switch it is possible to take control of your appliances remotely. Simply plug the WeMo into a power point, then plug any appliance into the switch. You can now turn these appliances on and off from anywhere, or pre-schedule to activate at a specific time.

WeMo uses your existing home WiFi network putting you in control via the free iOS or Android App on your smartphone or tablet. WeMo keeps you safe and in control.

It’s the latest ‘must have’ device.

  • I thought they RRP was higher than $60. JB Hifi sells them for $69. Nice to see someone that doesn't inflate it.

    • Oops. I was looking at the Wemo Light Switch. The normal Switch is $58 at JB.

  • Is this a special, or their normal price?

  • Zwave is the way to go.

    • Are there any Z-Wave Plug-in switches available at a comparable price?

  • anyone wanting to go halfsies on this deal with me and lives near the parramatta (NSW) area?
four is a bit much, but i can definitely use two.

  • Ditto for any Brisbanites wanting to only buy two as I''ve got one already and would only want two more. PM me if so.

hey guys if you have a bunnings nearby I recommend getting them to price-beat this website: http://www.pclan.com.au/index.php/belkin-wemo-switch-home-au…

    Comes to ~$42.30 per switch!

Ooh they do free shipping on this item too.
Wonder if Bunnings would price beat AGL's 4 pack? ($40.275 each)

      • didn't think of that! great idea

  • Dick Smith currently just under $60- normal price. but $52.78 with 12% off.

but have been down to $50-.

  • I have one but with the sensor. Not sure if this come with the sensor. For $40~ it's a great price. Just hoping more companies are bringing them out soon so the prices can drop!

Having a great device that work without any complicated setup is one thing, but combine this with Belkin Wemo app it is by far the best system out at the moment (in my opinion). I've used it for the last 6 months and not a single problem. I set the sensor to detect motion in the evening (after sunset) and after sunrise the next morning.

    • It's normally ~$120 for the pack with the sensor, but they can be had for ~$80.

  • Does this only work with iDevices? Not Android?

    • It might "just work" on iDevices

putting you in control via the free iOS or Android App on your smartphone or tablet.

  • Make sure you update the firmware if you buy these.

    • Firmware is updated automatically when you use the APP for the first time.

    • THANK YOU! I just bought two Wemo Light Switches for $41.98 each. The POWER code didn't work though.

  • Note the new Wemo Insight range expected late June.
