[PSN US] Ni No Kuni - Wrath of The White Witch $4.99 USD

90

If you have have a US PSN account, and don't have Ni No Kuni yet its currently going for the just USD4.99. I can't even recall if it has ever gone down that low.

Apparently is part of a "Flash RPG" sale but I failed to find out when it expires.

I bought it for AUD14.00 a few months ago on the Australian PSN and have not regretted it at all. Would be even more stoked if I snagged it for just a fiver.

  • Any recommendations about getting funds to the account without paying for a us card?

    • Can you add funds with PayPal?

      • Apparently not with a local card. If someone knows how, I'm all ears as well.

        • Use AMEX.

Use an AMEX card. Or buy credit off Amazon.

I buy credit off amazon as well. I just use a US billing address.

      • Minimum $10 digital code…. :(

        • I'm sure you'll find something worth spending the remaining $5 on. If not now, then later.

If you have an AMEX card, they can charge that. Minimum charge is $5 though. Which just happens to be what this game costs.

    • I use a Load and Go credit card for these sorts of things. Works like a charm. I just used a pizza place in Delaware.

    • I just got an email from Sony telling me Paypal is now accepted on PSN. I don't know if it means you can use an AU credit card on the US store, but I would think it does. On their end, all they see is payment go through in the currency they want it in, they aren't going to see or care about the source you used to make that payment. Since the PSN itself does not have IP based geolocking, I would assume they aren't going to be picky about what credit card you used as long as they get the payment they ask for.

That is only my assumption though. I haven't tried it.

      • That would be cool, that's the only reason I haven't jumped on a US account because getting funds is a bit of a hassle.

When making a US account what is a good state to choose?

        • I don't think it matters, but try Oregon or Delaware for no sales tax.

I used a California address but I was never charged any tax on my purchases.

  • Dupe?

"The Flash Sale starts now and ends Friday, June 6th at 12:00PM Pacific."

  • I sure do love spending 80 bucks for things that go to 5 in under a year.

    • I find JRPGs generally drop in price quickly. So I just don't buy them until it hits the 'right' price (usually about $20). Most of the time it hits this price within 6 - 12 months.

This is an awesome game… get it! Never a dull moment.. great intro to JRPG for kids as well.

  • I don't have a PS Console, can I still buy the Game for gift purpose (or may be I'll move from Xbox to PS in future)?

    • I am not sure about for gift purposes but you can buy now and when you get a PS in the future you can download it. As long as you log-in with same PSN account.
