    Currently yes, these are Samsung's top-end SSD. Sure seem faster than the EVO drives and there's a few reviews of the smaller 250GB PRO vs EVO, see http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1767466/samsung-840-p… and http://ssdboss.com/ssds/Samsung-840-Pro-vs-Samsung-840-EVO

    The 2nd link there shows it to be a close race in performance back then at least.
