PlayStation Plus Membership - PS3, PS4 and Vita

Hi OzBargain crew!

This is my first post and its in relation to trying to find the absolute best deal with purchasing the mandatory Playstation Plus membership for online gaming on PS4.

Thanks to many of you recently posting good deals I was able to purchase the latest 70" model Bravia with the PS4 giveaway by pricematching the '12daystorio" deal from DSE with my local HN.

I've walked away with an awesome package deal though as most of you are aware unless you buy the Bravia from an official Sony store you need to wait for the delivery of the PS4 which could take up to three weeks.

This brings me back to my topic, Im wanting to find the best current deal on the purchase of a 12 month membership and information whether I should be looking at AU,UK or US membership (in true OzBargain style) to get the most bang for my buck!

Some of you would have already travelled down this road and done the research which is why I would like to kindly tap into your wisdom and get this in place prior to arrival of my much anticipated piece of hardware!

Any advice no matter how trivial will be appreciated :)

EU (which includes Aus) PS+ has better monthly games.

    US PS+ has better sales.

So far the PS4 PS+ monthly games have been the same for both regions and will most likely be the same for a while. So if you only have a PS4 then make a US account since it's cheaper and better sales. You can buy PS+ memberships or PSN cards from Amazon.

  • Thanks for your responses so far guys

Honestley, go for a US membership. Much better value, with cheaper PS+ membership, along with AMAZING sales. A wider selection of titles.

It used to be that EU+ had better games in the collection, but that's changed recently so that both regions get the same games, although offset by a month or two.

Only problems with US+ is acquiring credit for the store, and occasionally having a game lock you into using US servers.

    • PS3 games are still often different.
