Maybe some use to others? My balance is nil on the card so I'll just BPAY it straight over the amount I use.

Here's how it works

Make 2 or more transactions at your local service station and we’ll credit your account with $20*. It’s that easy.

*Open to Australian residents 18 and over. Does not include cash transactions, extended interest free or other promotional purchases. Customers who make 2 or more transactions using Gem Visa between 5 June 2014 and 30 June 2014 will have a $20 credit applied to their account on their next statement. The account must be open and not in default of your credit contract when the $20 credit is applied. A customer can only qualify once for this offer.

  Is there a minimum? Can't imagine filling up $1 x 2 and getting $20 lol but good if that works.

    No idea sorry. Put in $20 of fuel in both cars today for work this week so see how it goes.

  They should roll this out to 28 degrees card to encourage people to use it. I suspect OzBargainers have moved on to Citibank cc's :P

  $99 annual fee "Applies after your first purchase, and on the anniversary of that first purchase every year afterwards.". What makes this Gem card so great?

    Just another one of the 12 - 50 month card deals. Works well for alot of people.

  I think it's targeted because the email I got from GEM states

  Make 6 or more transactions with a minimum of $10 per spend, before the end of the month, and we’ll credit your account with $20*. It’s that easy.
